Morning, Lodge. Made that oatmeal overnight, and we threw in some dried cherries, craisins and walnuts. It was good. :cool:

Good morning. I woke up to a non functioning laptop yesterday, new hard drive & operating system (Windows7) yesterday and I'm back in bidness. Plus I was able to recover most everything from the almost fried hard drive. :)

So far so good, in the 18 hours I've had it. ;)

I am not a an expert by any means but so far there seem to be some cool features to share files within a home network so I need to get my desktop set up on W7 too. It will take some getting used to but the more I use it the more I like it. My favorite par so far is how quickly the laptop starts up, when it's off or from a nap, much faster than XP did on the same machine.

Probably doesn't hurt that my hard drive is now 3X larger. My BIL helped me make the transition, he's a big time MS guru, and he is completely sold on the OS and thinks he may have some more memory he can add to my laptop which (I guess) would make help even more. He also loaded Office 2007 for me so I am set for a long time (I hope!) and the price was right!

So: this past week, my Storm wasn't charging right, but would work off and on. No big deal. I wake up this morning, and it WONT charge. Just got back from Verizon Wireless with a brand spanking new replacement... now to hope my contacts and everything were backed up when I upped to 5.0 last week or whenever.

Did you make them give you a storm2 as replacement? :D
