It would be nice to talk to you but at this point it's up to you. I've tried to stay in touch with you. I'm done banging my head against the wall trying to stay in touch with you.

It's great to be home. The minute I drove into the Twin Cities a big smile came to my face and a sense of comfort that I haven't had in quite some time.

At this point work is not a good situation at all. There is very little I can do to improve the situation so I'm trying to not let it get me down anymore. This week I had 32 hours of overhead and 8 hours of PTO. Definitely not a good thing. You can't spend time on work you don't have.

Depending on the part of Quebec, they'll really appreciate you at least trying. Never assume folks speak English either.

If you're in Montreal though, forget what I've said. If you're in any of the small towns or Quebec City - French all the way.

I want to say that the drinking age is 19 in Quebec now but I'm not sold on that as I saw plenty of NHL draft picks in street clothes drunk off their butts in July.

ETA: Nevermind, it's 18 in Quebec, 19 in Ontario.

There appeared to be an unbased internet rumor that something was going to change at the beginning of 2009, but no, nothing has changed.
