Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 88: What's in your stash?

So I'm clicking around and there is a show on TLC about security guards at the Mall Of America. Some mom is blowing a gasket because her little brat isn't getting some other brats (whom I've never heard of - demi labotomy?) autograph. Too funny, the kids (one is 15 the pathetic dope) are crying like pathetic losers, the mom is making hockey parents look sane, and dad is in the background with the "I wish I had sons" look. :D

...so you get to take care of her and show just how much you care :o and maybe she'll decide that's a good thing for her? ;)

Best of luck to her, to your husband and son, and the rest of your family, les. :(

Morning, Lodge. Apparently every woman I know under the age of twenty-five was dressed in a corset last night. And I wasn't there to see any of them. :o (though I've been told pictures are forthcoming)

Not all of them... I was not along for this adventure.

Greetings from Pittsburgh, where I'm attending the Soil Science Society of America meeting this week. The conference planners didn't do a very good job, the Penguins are out of town this week! :(

So if you live in North Dakota you need to travel out of state to see a hockey team. I get it. :D :D :D

You are in Pittsburgh. This is not good planning anyway.

An NHL team...yes. :p Just so happens the Pens have a couple of young stars I would have liked to see play in person. :p

Yeah, if you wanted to see a hockey team in NoDak I forgot that North Dakota State does have a club hockey team.

And Pittsburgh is a great place for a dirt convention. I mean how many cities are dirtier than Pittsburgh? :p

You are correct on both counts sir :D

Dickinson has high school hockey as well :p

Patman, should I offer congrats or condolences? :D

Trust the Lodge to jolt me back to reality- corsets?!

'diva: aw.

les: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Rocky_Horror_Picture_Show_cult_following - the gf and some of her friends went to go see Rocky Horror last night, and apparently so did a few other friends of mine elsewhere in the country. One of the traditions is that women often end up wearing corsets, teddies and other lingerie.

Have I mentioned I want to go to Rocky Horror Picture Show? :o

Pittsburgh's actually a very nice city - not dirty like people remember it, and there's a lot to do.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 88: What's in your stash?

Morning, Lodge.

While I appreciate the extra hour of sleep I got last night, the fact that it's going to be dark on my way home from work makes me mad. I hate driving in the dark.
Last night driving back from GV, I spotted 7 deer moving along the side of the interstate, and its probably probable that there was a few more of the living kind that I didn't see as well. Thankfully, the only thing I did hit last night was a big raccoon on 96 east of portland. It was in the middle of the lane, when he looked up and saw me coming. I swear he mouthed "OHHH... SHIIIIIttt..." as he turned and headed back to the ditch, I drifted over away from the ditch, but all that ended up doing was lining him up with the tires for a thump-thump. Probably made it quick for it.

None here either, doesn't help when you have a 500 ft driveway cut thru the woods and don't leave the outside lights on:D
That would be fun to have if you had a few more kids in the neighborhood that would walk up that driveway. Have a few people in the woods jumping out at them, that would be funny!! ;) :D

That, and I think the H1N1 panic kept a lot of kids home this year.

@Monster--that rep was quite disturbing, until I went and saw was post it was for. :)

:D :D :D :D It was either that or the one song where he talks about a midget hanging from his neckless.

Good afternoon Lodge. Here's a few words of advice: avoid surgery whenever you can. But it looks like the final outcome will be as hoped - cancer free. I get the pathology results on Wednesday.

SFIS - good to hear the good news. :)

Made it back to Boston safely from Orlando. Now I'm reading last minute essays for the little bro for his Georgetown application. They're due today.
