Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 86: Noobs, Halloween, and Pumpkins, oh my!

Speaking of DC, I'm trying to book a flight there for a business trip the first week in November and the US Air shuttle is almost $500! That's ridiculous!!

I have noticed that too. The shuttle gets real expensive you don't book it about 6 weeks in advance.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 86: Noobs, Halloween, and Pumpkins, oh my!

I really need a better job. Hell, I would take just having another one and work the schedule around this one. I also need to become super awesome at the trombone. Fast.

After 12pm today, I will be the only person at this park. This begs the question--why the heck are we even open??

I fly into BWI and it's typically cheap. Something about Southwest flying there (I fly on Northwest, but they have to compete with Southwest's prices). It's a wonderful thing. My flight home for Thanksgiving will cost something like $120.

The problem is the hotel I'm staying at is almost 50 miles from BWI, so I'd have to pay cab fare to and from and by the time that is done it might be the same price. But I was going to check it just to see.

Good Morning Lodge! as usual, I can't keep up! Hope all is well!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 86: Noobs, Halloween, and Pumpkins, oh my!

Morning Lodge.

Hopefully today will be better than yesterday. Yesterday I wanted to beat people unconcious just so they would be unable to eff things up any further.

That's okay. Today I want to beat people unconscious just so they can leave me the hell alone.

just take the B30 bus to Greenbelt and then take the subway... sure its not luxurious or even decent but its cheap and it'll work ;)

of course, I'm planning on taking the train home for xmas so ignore me.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 86: Noobs, Halloween, and Pumpkins, oh my!

I am trying to figure out the chords for Pink Floyd's Breathe in the Air/Breathe on the piano. I have it all down except the very last complex chord as it transitions back to e. The one right before it is a D7#9, but I can't get the last one. It is driving me crazy.

I even gave up and tried to look online. But they are all wrong. Many of them sound close, but it just isn't right. I know from watching the Dark Side of the Moon special on VH1 classic, and Richard Wright talked about how he did something goofy there with some complex chords. He didn't play no B7(Sounds dumb), or D7b9(Only one note moving? Sure doesn't sound like it.)

I digress, probably should have put this in the gears thread. In fact I will.

D1 is too much fun today. If October is like this, I'm curious to see what it's gonna be like over there come February/March.

HOLY CRAP. We have an AIC fan!

Quick! Let's catch him and take his gold! :p

Honestly, they're really not quite that rare. There's actually a few of them over on the D2F forum.

Cleaned out some of my room yesterday and went thru some of my wardrobe to get rid of some of the stuff I really don't want or need anymore to Goodwill.

Yeah--but an AIC Hockey fan?? Has one been seen before??

I did the same thing yesterday. It felt good, but my closet looks so empty now. :(

That's amazing.

This is better than February or March though because there are idiots out now with big Internet muscles jacked up on steroids thinking their teams are going to rampage.

UnionHockeyManiac should be nominated for a peace prize. He's doing quite a job of unifying the board.

I don't have the energy to pay attention to that stuff. I stay over here on the wimpy side.
