I saw the post that you quoted in the original but I was reading real fast and saw that others had already said that you can't post images that are on your computer, so I didn't see the exact place the file was.

Now its left to wonder if it's actually him or a relative using his computer.

What's the '91 Halloween Storm?

There was a Halloween blizzard out here in '91. It was awesome. The kids who still ventured out received a king's ransom in candy. When you are eight, that is effing sweet.

What's the '91 Halloween Storm?

40" snowstorm that lasted four days. The worst part of the storm is that it came in to Minnesota on a Thursday.....otherwise, I would've had a six-day weekend. We had MONDAY off of school. :(

What's the '91 Halloween Storm?

Massive blizzard in the Twin Cities on Halloween. Pretty much the most frequently cited example of how bad the weather can get there. I'll let the MN residents explain in more detail.

Wow. Mention a snow day, and the posters come out of the woodwork. :D

After a handful of beers and a backyard bonfire, I might need a snow day tomorrow.

I just looked at all of his previous posts. I wonder why there are so many on Providence threads. I would think that he would have shown up on Colgate threads instead.

We didn't need to trick or treat for 4 years after that...we still did, but we didn't need to.:D

My pillowcase was heavy that year...deliciously heavy. :)

My dad got four or five beers that year while taking us trick-or-treating. It was a windfall for all of us. :D

There's one post in particular (another RPI poster pointed this out to me and compared notes after the fact) and this post was a comment about the process with Bryan Vines that makes it seem like it could be Fridge himself posting.

What's the '91 Halloween Storm?

A Minnesota legend. Feet, many feet of snow on Halloween of '91. I remember trick or treating in snow about mid-thigh deep.

In '91 there was a blizzard in the TC on Halloween...

Wait, so what's the '91 Halloween Storm?

Back from Metallica.

It. Was. Awesome.

Now I'm going to sleep, it sounds like I have a lot of catching up to do in the the Union-SCSU thread tomorrow morning during training. Too bad I have to be covert about reading it, since the instructors are kinda anal about paying attention...
My throat hurts and my ears are still ringing. They put on quite the show. I'm not so much a fan of their opening act, Lamb of God.

Yes, there are several posts like that which would agree well with it being him, but I just don't understand the PC posts. Did his wife go there perhaps? Are his kids of college age?

See if you can follow this, it gets complicated.

In 1991, on Halloween, we had a big snowstorm in the Twin Cities. It was a blizzard now known as the "'91 Halloween Storm."

Don't know for sure. Fridge isn't exactly an old guy.

I just pulled out the 2000-1 media guide which says is son was 9 years old. If he was born in 1991, he could now be in college. (Also, they don't always update that stuff, so he could be a year or more older.)
