Morning Lodge!

Busy so far today at work, apparently when you are out for training for an entire week, the work piles up a little bit.:p

Yeah, our guy only has one combine I believe, so it probably took him a little longer than that. Plus you're probably out on flatter land while ours is a bit more hilly. We do have one big dip here that would make a pretty cool amphtheater that you would probably wanna be really careful with on how you go about it.
We only have 1, but it is the biggest, newest one that Deere makes, it has a massive capacity (and should for the $300,000+ price tag). And we're in bluff country, there is no such thing as flat land where I come from.:p We have a sidehill combine, so that helps with the hills.

I was "cleaning up" my facebook profile last night, deleting bad pics and trying to get it a little more PG, since there are more and more people requesting friendships:rolleyes: that shouldn't see that stuff. While doing this I found a picture of me with wolverine trumpet that I had never seen before, that was a surprise!:p
Is it the one where I wrote "it was that guy's birthday, I bought him a drink, I don't know his name".
I know your name now. That weekend I didn't.

wT (aka Ravens fan),

...[blah blah blah]
Let's Go Ravens!

Does anyone look sometimes and suddenly realize just how weird some of the monikers are on here? Most of the time I don't even think about it but when I do I think ~it is weird that I don't think they are weird most of the time.
My brother went through my cell phone and commented about some of the names. Most of the weird names are posters, but there are some non-poster friends who I've put their nicknames in ("Alaska", "Iowa", "Tuba Rob", "The Dude" etc).

Afternoon, kids!
Was very productive this morning, but lacking motivation now... :o

I end up posting in here when I'm on conference calls that I really have no impact on. Like right now!

Yeah, that would be it. My memory is hazy from that night. We celebrated my birthday with class that day! 5 of us piled into a pickup in Houghton, we bought a liter of Jack and a 30 pack of Old Milwaukee and road tripped to Marquette. We ran out of beer and Jack half way there, and stopped to get a second 30 pack and a couple pints of cheap whiskey. Almost finished that too. (no the driver wasn't drinking)

Yeah, you were smashed that night...:p

Congrats, Bob! No one warned you about "the wall" at mile 20? Apparently, what you experienced is pretty common in the marathon. What, besides resting and recovering, is the plan now?
.
Eating a sammich!!! :D

Can you give us examples?

There are some handles that would seem a bit weird if I were speaking to the person, and this has happened. I remember meeting CHA and chuckling to myself when I was going to call him "Addict". :D

There are also handles that are just hard to enunciate like KC8NIY, but he seems to have disappeared anyway.

I just call him KC, or when it stopped being weird, then I started using his real name. But when I talk about him to other posters IRL, I say KC.
Its either just KC or Sunshine as what TA Jen liked to call him as I recall. There's somebody who's dropped off of the face of the earth. :o

I can't imagine that works when she asks what kind and the words "International Harvester" come out of your mouth instead of "Ferrari" :p

Deere, John Deere. We bought a red POS once, and my dad said never again. All Deere, only Deere.

I've met Ralph a few times and he still calls me GLM.
