They seem to have fixed whatever was wrong with the new pulldown menus on the front page, It probably only affected IE.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 85: Pants or no Pants?

You're nuts.

You're not the first person to tell me this, ya know.

It's early October.
The leaves are still green (and most of the trees still have lots of leaves).
It's 25 degrees out, and there's snow on the ground.
Something ain't right about this.

Not anymore, the grass is white. :)

Yeah, if I was there, I'd be shaking my fist towards the heavens. I wasn't there, but people still talk about the big Halloween blizzard, whenever that was. That'd blow.

1991, IIRC. I had to drive to work in it. Only lived about 3 miles away from work, and was one of 5 people who could make it in. My '89 Corsica did wonders in that storm; even did a 360 in the middle of an intersection (on purpose) on the way to work. :D

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 85: Pants or no Pants?

. Am I not correct in my statement that Merrimack is terrible? I thought I made an accurate statement.

Depends on who you compare them to, compare them to Maine and they aren't that bad:eek: , Compare them to other D1 programs(excluding PC);) and they suck:D

Can't believe I payed 700 bucks to get Maine season Tickets, What an idiot I am

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 85: Pants or no Pants?

I am in 2 fantasy college hockey leagues.

I have Matt Read from Bemidji in both leagues.

Matt Read had 2 goals and 2 assists tonight.

One goal was a shorty.

Matt Read was on my bench, in both leagues.

FWIW Read is going to put up big numbers this season.

Reading the Maine thread I wondered if someone should take away everyones shoelaces and belts. Wow. Is that depressing.

Wow. Something is wrong with this.

I am going to a wedding. Should be interesting. Lots of people who very much like the alcohol and get, um, impulse control impaired.

Bob, what time is that GR Marathon?? I might still be up there that day if its early enough.
Gun goes off at 8 AM; hoping to cross the finish line by 1 PM. Starts and ends at the Grand Rapids YMCA. Here's the course map...

And good morning, Lodge. Time to go to work.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 85: Pants or no Pants?

I got negged for going on a semi-drunken rant about how Merrimack is terrible last night. It said that I am an idiot. Am I not correct in my statement that Merrimack is terrible? I thought I made an accurate statement.

They're better than PC.

And you really need to either calm it with the semi-drunken rants or get fully drunk. Either way.

Morning Lodge.

I think we're going to watch the Lady Nittney Lion Volleyballers stomp the Lady Gophers.:( Number 5 hosting #1++++. PSU has won 81 straight matches. But they're vulnerable now, they've actually dropped two sets this season, last season only dropped two to Nebraska.

So my wife is willing to go with me to watch tall, fit young ladies in tight, short uniforms jump up and down. :) I just need to only comment on the stellar play, not the appearance. ;)

I agree. Oh well. I do get a comp day in return though and I am sure tonight we will be having some good food and beverages.

morning Lodge. Can't wait to see Brent cry like a little girl next weekend. Maybe he and my dad can console each other while the Sioux trounce the Gophers in an epic showdown of one powerhouse and one red-headed stepchild of a team. :D

Please. You're going to whimper like a little puppy after the Arrogant Ones kick the Sioux around the ice. Just don't go all Payne Stewart when you head home, ok?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 85: Pants or no Pants?

Wedding last night went well. Two of the groomsmen with mullets straight out of 1988, the stepfather of the groom looked like Willie Nelson's dad, mixed in with a brown suit and bright white sneakers. Half the guys at the wedding almost DL'd at the reception, but I'll tell that story later today. Also, two of my cousins playing the role of mad chemists with the punch, ending with the two of them taking shots of Everclear (the 190 proof).

Was the band a couple of dueling banjos? ;)
