Winter storm watch for 320land Monday.

Hehehehe, good luck with that:D

Just put an industrial sized pan of spinach Lazagna in the oven. Sitting back with a Shipyard waiting for it to be done

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 85: Pants or no Pants?

Hello Lodge.
Drank a lot last night, but not too much. My rage subsided overnight. I was up by 7 to drive down to the homeland to go to the auction. I made several purchases...most I've already mentioned that I was interested in: 1922 Montgomery Ward 50th Anniversary Special Edition Catalog, Springfield break-action .20 gauge shotgun from 1929, Commemorative Red Wing Stonewear Minnesota/Michigan mini-crock, An old Waterloo Boy toy tractor, and an old Tonka truck.
We may have a Monster on the loose here in a few...GVSU just lost to Hillsdale.
I honestly don't care one bit about D2 football, but that is awesome.

Evening, Lodge. Tonight feels like a great night to sit down with a minty hot chocolate (or dark rum and hot cider) and watch hockey.

After breaking in the college hockey season watching the UNDUI's/Merrimack game last night with MNS, I also look forward to a night of hockey. Maybe a movie, too.

If it is as cold tomorrow morning as it was this morning, it may be time for the season's first coffee with a shot of whiskey in it at OC.

But Rumple/hot choc does sound good.

They're not showing that game on the sports package tonight.

I did get to see most of it last night, however. Gwoz tossing his team under the bus in between periods was hilarious!

Edit: sipping on some Abbey right now. Dam good.

Make sure the mint in the hot chocolate is from Peppermint Schnapps and not just a peppermint stick ;)

And they came back and won.

Well yeah, but it's not too often you see a coach call his team's play "a comedy of errors" and that they stunk it up, and were playing worthless hockey, in between periods. ;)

Springfield break-action .20 gauge shotgun from 1929, Commemorative Red Wing Stonewear Minnesota/Michigan mini-crock, An old Waterloo Boy toy tractor, and an old Tonka truck..

If you're ever planning to fire the shotgun instead of just look at it, be careful. It's likely a Damascus twist barrel and modern smokeless powder might just untwist it. ;)

I wore a t-shirt all day today that I bought from JFGophers 7 years ago. "Got Banner? Weibel World Tour 2002-2003"

Kid skated so well at tryouts today he was like a different kid. If he had skated like from the start, he might have a chance to be picked higher in the draft. Potted four and a couple nice assists, and even backchecked.

The local travel soccer club is having a fall meeting in a couple weeks with a special guest. Brandi Chastien. I am soooo tempted to reply with the question "will she take her shirt off?":D Google her name for images.

Very nice! My "M Arrogant" shirt will be making its season debut next Friday for the UND-MN game at a Sioux bar.

And anyone else remember that foosball commercial with Chastain and KG, and after she beats him, there's a pause, and she finally says, "Yes?" and he says "What's with the shirt?" If anyone can find that, please link it. I've had no luck. Classic commercial!

Good advice on the shotgun, but it's very possible that it's built for smokeless powder. It ought to be stamped near the breech somewhere, and if not it's probably well enough documented online or at your local library. :)

And good luck with the lovely Miss Chastain.
