Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 84: Steal This.

A Five Guys just opened about 5 minutes from my office. This could be bad.

yes, but it could be awesome... and you won't know unless you go.

(Hypocritical on my part... there's a five guys within a 5 minute walk of home.)

It takes much more than a 5 minute walk to wear off the effects of even a regular order of their fries. :D

Good Afternoon Lodge.

This week of week has just been absolutely dragging....
Right now much of my workload is devoted to answering customer/distributor questions about products, and I have gotten a total of 1 question so far this week. While it is nice to not be swamped, I really wish I had a little more going on this week.:o
My group (4 of us at this location) was supposed to volunteer at some place this afternoon, doing landscaping work...it was cancelled because of the rain.

I can't decide if I should stay home to do my FCH draft tonight or go to OC with MNS and brent. I really want to go to OC, but I'm afraid that the draft might run too long and that they'll close on me...

Ralph, Regarding your rep...Denver starts its season Sunday evening with an exhibition game against the University of Calgary.

On Saturday night Calgary will play Colorado College. On Sunday Calgary travels up I-25 to play Denver. After the game Calgary goes back down the road to meet Air Force on Monday.

In recent years both Calgary and the University of British Columbia have been visitiors to the I-25 corridor to play the three division 1 programs here. It's cost effective for UBC and Calgary since they can play three games on such a trip, the travel is fairly easy as the teams can fly to either DIA or into Colorado Springs. The University of Alberta is another team which has made some trips to play AFA/CC/DU on an extended weekend. There's a fair number of Canadian universities in the western provinces and I think the athletic departments at AFA/CC/DU make a joint effort to schedule a team from Western Canada to come to Colorado for a three game weekend.

After the Calgary exhibition DU starts its sixtieth season by hosting Vermont next weekend in what should be a challenging series for both teams. I'm looking forward to that one. Let the games begin!! :)

Uggh....don't feel like moving.

I like free food...but I ate way too much at the barbeque and ate it way too fast so I could get to my noon o'clock meeting. I just want to take a nap.

Oh, and looking at the "this is why you're fat" site just gave me ideas for things I want to try. And made my stomach hate me more.

Filed under the "Careful what you wish for" Category............

I (and my colleagues) were starting to really sweat the lack of projects and were wondering how long we could hang on like this. Well, it appears a new project may be in the works for a few of us. The good news is, it involves installing a software system in one of our box plants, which is where I came from before joining corporate IS. The bad news is it's the plant in Mexicali, MX.

I haven't been there yet. But Corporate HR insists that when visiting or doing business there, you cross the border every day and night, staying near San Diego. The most senior ranking employee is the only one who can rent a car on the companies dime, and we have to stagger our hours and travel routes due to rampant kidnapping of US citizens doing business in Mexicali. Sounds like fun
But it is work :o

There should be an allowance to build up an arsenal. Or at least the opportunity to provide your own.
