The lasagna turned out mediocre. I'll have to drain the tomatoes better next time and use a different sauce.

I usually let the sauce simmer long enough to boil off all the extra juice and I usually prefer to build the lasagna the night before. It seems to do better when it sits in the fridge overnight and then baked the next day.

If you are taking it someplace to serve, I will even prebake it (with alumimum foil on it) so the cheeze doesnt get all burnt and crusty. I hate burnt and crusty cheese. Then you can just warm it up (it still takes about 30 mins to warm the whole thing up) and then remove the alumin foil for the last 10 to melt the cheese.

Man now I remeber why I declared a lasagna moratorium for 2009. Friggen alot of work. If I made a crappy one I guess it wouldnt be a problem, but I must make a dozen lasagnas a year for various things.

Do you all recall the story about the 17 year old kid who tripped during a hockey game, and broke his neck, and is paralyzed from the neck down?
While MTV is frequently stupid, right now, he's one of the people in a "True Life" episode. It's following his rehab & road to recovery and it's pretty freaking interesting & inspirational.

It's a dry 69 degrees here in 231-land; hope it's warmer than 50 tomorrow morning when I step outside.

It rained off and on late afternoon/evening here. I'd expect that to hit MI in the next day or two. It wasn't a drizzle, either. It was total downpour for a few minutes, then it would stop.

It's quite amusing how she looks just like a mini golden retriever at this point. lol.

And yes, I have a cat. While I love her, she's boring as hell, and only interacts with me when she's out of food.
