Powerpoint is a nasty crutch for those not good enough to learn Latex ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 83: Hot Toddies and Cool Weather

Congrats!

I am going to have sinus surgry! Except because of my schedule I am going to have to wait until november. :(

Oh no! Though I will say that it does work. The best friend had it and they removed tons of polyps from her sinuses and, for awhile, she could breathe again and smell (she probably would still be able to if she was compliant with her meds).

I looooove ppt. Especially 07. It makes my life millions of times easier. I also love derivatives. Seriously.

Good morning from Denver where, at least temporarily, we're saying goodbye to summer and hello to autumn on a day when it's currently 46 degrees with heavily overcast skies.

I've also lived here long enough to know we haven't had the last of our eighty degree days, although they'll be in much shorter supply.

I hope everyone's week gets off to a productive start. :)

Morning, Lodge! Dishes have been washed, cats fed and watered, picked the trash off the kitchen floor, and I went back to bed.

Time to get moving with the rest of my day.

Hi Lodge

Work load is dangerously low these days. I'm still volunteering for the 32/week, but I'm having trouble even filling those hours with billable. Hopefully things will pick up soon.

So, my girlfriend and I decided that we're probably much better off being just friends. It was a pretty short relationship, but we still get along well, so we'll still be able to be friends. Overall, I'm confident that its the right decision, though I'm a little bummed. Oh well, not everything works out great.

and hey, you got some. No shame in that.

It's still no Shrader. Trust me on this one. I think I have the pic somewhere, but can't remember. It was BAD.

Working on finding it on Quiz's computer

hf, I can't quote you on my blackberry, however it looks like I'm going AST.

enjoy your gangbangs.

It is *s cold in Denver today. There's quite a bit of snow in the highlands (overflew it today) and yep, as I'm typing this, there is snow outside! Just started snowing. Are you *king kidding me.

Oh, and in the not cool department, a friend of Quiz's who she has been friend with for over 20 years just ended their friendship. Total bull****.

Good morning all. A quick drive by to say hi before I shower and pack. The Emmys were......well, the show itself was actually quite good. My celebrity watching, however......*sigh*. Apparently, as with my ridiculously bad gambling experience in Vegas last month, God has sent me a message that I was so totally blessed with watching BU have an outstanding season finishing with that amazing victory in DC that no other good things will come my way this year. At least, that is what I'm telling myself. It's the only way to lessen the extreme annoyance and aggravation that I saw maybe two or three celebs total the ENTIRE day. No photos. Nada. Zilch. Of course, security at the Nokia Theater might have had something to do with it, too. :o

Getting azz kicked by horse > getting azz kicked by sidewalk :)
Sounds better on paper anyways.

Had an awesome weekend. The game at Notre Dame was fun. I like their stadium and crowd. It feels great to go to a game and not have to listen to canned music or have a ton of advertising shoved down my throat.

The opposite of that was the Lions game yesterday. But that was still fun. I loved the moron in front of us that could not come up with any good insults, so instead just repeated something about how the Vikings fans were wearing purple.

Oh, and there was a cat fight in the stands at the Lions game. Several sections over so I didn't get too good of a view, but half the stadium was no longer watching the game, everyone was standing watching the fight. The women were escorted out, one in handcuffs.
This post is worthless without pictures of the cat fight. :D

Wow how far we have come in technolgoy on the USCHO front. I feel very old right now cause I want to make the statement " I remember when I wanted to check in on uscho......"

people that write multiple paragraphs in powerpoint presentations suck.
I actually think they should be elgible for capital punishment.

The worst is when they write multiple paragraphs and then READ from it. All I have to say is people are lucky I dont own a handgun, or even a plastic dart gun for that matter.

Oh no! Though I will say that it does work. The best friend had it and they removed tons of polyps from her sinuses and, for awhile, she could breathe again and smell (she probably would still be able to if she was compliant with her meds).

Yeah I was home last week (and today) with my 3rd sinus infection of the year and I happened to talk to my aunt who had it done. I didnt even know it was an option, but so many little life inconviences kind of added up and it made sense. When I run I totally mouth breathe right now, sometimes I wake up at night cause I cant breathe (then cough up and keep breathing), plus once you start getting yearly sinus infections (which I have been doing for over a decade) there is build up of scar tissue, so not only is it all phyiscally blocked up, but it is easier to get the next sinus infection.

And I snore so loud that I friggen wake myself up sometimes now!!! I didnt always do that. So thinking back it seems like I have been dealing with all these little " i dont feel well" moments for year that have been related to my sinus but it wasnt ever enough for me to get it check out (because i would often just deal with it). And as much as any sort of surgery terrfiies me, this there are no scars, no packing, and all the potential for relief. It kind of seems like no brainer.

I will still proably need to take some allergy stuff and be extra careful until i find a job in a new building (my building is a sick building) but otherwise I am so excited to be a somewhat normal individual again (at least for me) :)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 83: Hot Toddies and Cool Weather

HAHAHAHAHA!!! I Love my younger brother!

He went down to Tennessee this weekend with some friends and on the way back they stopped at an outlet mall that had a Reebok store in it. And he wanted to get some new shoes there. Anyways, he tries out a shoe there, likes how they look, and then buys the pair. Then today, he gets home here and starts looking a little closer at the box. Turns out what he bought was a near pair, one shoe was larger than the other one, and the one shoe he tried on was the larger of the two. His feet are size 14. So now he's whining about how he's got one shoe smaller than the other one. I try them on and they fit alright to me. My feet are size 13. :D I'm just amused at how nobody notice that they were shoes were Near Pairs until they got home here. :D :)
