Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 83: Hot Toddies and Cool Weather

Good morning. Two HS football games last night, the nephews were 2-0 for the night and it could not have been a more perfect evening to watch the games. :)

BTW - I really like the new home network and genius features on iTunes 9.
Really installing printer this time. Half way thru and so far so good.

I swear all printers are temperamental brats. :D

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 83: Hot Toddies and Cool Weather

Just put a huge pot of tomatos thru the food mill, now it sits on the burner evaporating till I get it thick enough for pizza sauce and then into ball jars. Made a dry rub for some pork ribs which I will be smoking later today. Now off to hang ceiling panels in my shop. Need to get the garage door installed badly before mice take over the place, need the ceiling to get said door installed

Good morning Lodge.

I have no clue when my 2 year anniversary is.

Last night I made some salsa. 95% of the ingrediants were home grown. I also prepared a 9 pound pork loin as I will be slow cooking it on the grill later today.

Beautiful day here in 320land.

Looking forward to watching the Gopher's destroy cal in a few hours.

Shot, you are off the hook in November. My daughter has a season ending softball tournament that weekend. I plan on crashing your house and drinking all of your stock of fine wine next year.:D

Season ending softball tournament, yeah right. You're scared s#itless and don't want to see the soon to be formerly Hostile and Abusives skated into oblivion by the Dancing Gwozdeckies. Just be man enough to admit it.

Geez, I hope you're not an umpire for that tournament because your daughter's team will be hosed at that point. ;)

I know Seattle probably won't be making the trip due to health considerations. Nevertheless, the Sioux will be prominently represented in the stands that weekend. No team--CC included--brings as many fans to Magness Arena when it plays DU as does North Dakota. In my opinion the arena is at its loudest all season for the Denver/NoDak series. I'll hoist a cold one in absentia for both you clowns as the Pioneers dismantle the Fighting Hakstols.

And there's a chance Seattle may be in Denver next week and, if so, we may try to get together.

So this is a public admission that there were hallucinogens in the salsa last night.

I ASSEMBLED SOMETHING WITHOUT THE INSTRUCTIONS!!!! :D

I now have a grocery cart... too bad I don't have a long grocery list to test this baby out.

Hi Lodge.

Wow, last night was epic. I ended up wandering around downtown Cincinatti at about 3AM trying to find my friend's friend's place. and...apparently I got in a fight with a sidewalk, and lost, but don't worry my face broke my fall. Overall, it was an awesome night.:D

edit: oh, and I ****ed my girlfriend off, which isn't good

nice day out... would be nice to have it be New England weather out there (60 degrees) but its pretty good... grocery cart went from point A to point B with some slight issues but nothing major.

But did it get back to point A? ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 83: Hot Toddies and Cool Weather

You shoulda just stole a cart from a local shopping establishment. :p

And I think I'm finally awake. Slept for 10+ hours last night  which is really really rare for me. It still took a 24oz Monster Khaos to get me fully awake (normally a 16ozer kickstarts my day with ease). Dam workweek just kicked my arse. :(

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 83: Hot Toddies and Cool Weather

oh, speaking of things I should have done... I accidently bought bratwurst instead of sausage because I just saw the cheaper price... i know I'll get no sympathy from the mid-westerners... but i don't think brats go with pasta and romano cheese.

You're right.

Especially now that you have two meals: brats, and then pasta/cheese. :p
