Morning lodge! checking in after a full day of work. Trying to figure out what to do with the rest of my day. Turning out to be beautiful in 630 land.

Clouding in at 978 land. Had to yank all my tomatoes because they got blight. Took all afternoon. :( And I got the creeping crud I was seeing everyone sick with at work. Ugh. Fever and chest feels full of yuck. I do not have time to be sick.

Just a plug here, but I started up a Fantasy NHL League you can join by going here. And putting in "153016" for the league ID and "flashyman" for the password.

Howdy kids. Just got back from the Red Sox game. The make up game from Friday's rainout was at noon today. Weather-wise, couldn't have been a better day. Got into Fenway about 11:45am and the PA announcer says 'Good morning ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls." Hee. Who woulda thunk you would ever hear "Good morning" at a MLB game. Great game, too.

Went to my former church's festival for a bite to eat afterwards. The church is in Somerville, which is where both of my parents grew up and though they've lived in Arlington waaaaaaaaaaaaaay longer than they ever lived in Somerville, they always say that they're "from Somerville." I bring this up because the mayor of Somerville was there and my dad got all excited and went up and introduced himself. I was excited to meet him too, but that was because he's pretty hot. And unless I'm mistaken, I believe he's single (not wearing a ring). :) I said to him "I think you got hosed by not getting in to see U2." Remember U2 played that local show here last spring? It was in Somerville. I'm thinking if he's the mayor, he could probably pull some rank and get in.

I need to start packing.....

I just need to start cleaning :o No packing necessary until later this week, for my weekend in da UP.

Would it be possible to send a growler with you? You would be rewarded, obviously. I'm thinking a growler on me. :)

Ah right, forgot about that one. No, we have the weeknight game package so we don't get the Patriot's Day game

Actually, it's "Summahville" :)

I know, but a girl can dream, right? ;)

Great weekend in Duluth for a wedding, very good time. The wind was calm, the weather was (almost too) warm. Couple nights at the Inn On Lake Superior, the groom's dinner at the Pickwick, a the reception at a ballroom connected to the DECC, fantastic views of the harbor.
