. And Mom has already talked to the insurance company for the farm here and since I live here, I'm not offically considered to be an employee of the farm or whatever, so they're no help. . :(

When I worked the family farm my parents had insurance specifically for me. It didn't cost very much, thankfully I never got to find out of it was any good:)

I had a ShirtlessBob kind of morning. I was way too productive for a weekend:

went grocery shopping, cleaned the apt, then had a soup-n-sandwich for lunch. And no, I'm not gonna go for a *ing run. :p

I had a leisurely morning- planning meeting for my NP regional group, making tomato sauce. After lunch- laundry, roasting some tomatoes for a roasted tomato lasagne and then roasting a chicken for dinner.

If I am feeling particularly brave I might finally hook up the printer I got 3 weeks ago and haven't taken outta the box yet.

It's kinda humid today, but nice. I may hit the patio over a Tryg's and have a couple beers. I think all day Saturday is happy hour. So it shouldn't be too bad.

Humid is right. Blah. At least it's sunny out.

Ha! You sound like me! I had my printer for almost a year before I hooked it up. :)

I'm currently at the office trying to get a million little things done that I couldn't get done due to the ridiculous/pathetic/assinine budget fire drill that I had no reason to be a part of. Seriously, the three months that I will be covering for this person I may be completely missing from this place. And if I do show up to post, I am going to need you all to be patient with my venting. I'm going to have to have a conversation with the temp boss to inform her about hockey seaon, and how nothing comes before that. So if she's expecting me to stay late on Fridays, she has another thing coming. :)

I have a feeling I'll be in the office a lot on Saturdays the next 4-5 months. :(

The weather here is just disgusting. Raw, windy, it's drizzly, then it's pouting, then nothing, then pouring, drilling nothing....been like that since I woke up this morning. Though if I have to be in the office on a weekend, I'd rather it be on a day like today!

Sounds about right. Grabing a big critter by the nose like that can draw its attention to you in a big hurry. :D

Sigh.... FML!!
Got the bill from the hospital on how much they wanna charge me right now for when the horse tried to take my head off. Lets just say that its north of $4,000 bucks. And Mom has already talked to the insurance company for the farm here and since I live here, I'm not offically considered to be an employee of the farm or whatever, so they're no help. Looks like my Monday is going to be spent calling them up and asking nicely to send me another bill for that since I don't have health insurance. Looking forward to that. Hopefully raising the point that the CAT Scan Machine had dried blood on its ceiling there when they ran me thru it might talk em into knocking off at least a thousand off of the bill. :(
You may need to sue your parents. Honestly.

A bit freudian? ;)

Good luck with that job. Doesn't sound like fun. At least you have your priorities (hockey) straight! :)

I'll listen to Scarlet...if for no other reason, she always makes me smile. :)
