Good Morning Lodge.

Trying to unload some old furniture on Craig's List. Went on last night to post it and there were over 1200 listings on furniture for sale by owner - posted yesterday!

Do you think my post might get a little lost on there?

I think so too, no responses yet from last night's post. I'm sure it's on page 6 by now.

Hello church garage sale drop-off this weekend. Our church has a a huge and hugely popular garage sale each September. I think they'll love our stuff.

What are you getting rid of?

I've been looking for a small end table or coffee table. Small being the key word.

Wouldn't she be in control of the aim (I can't believe I posted that)
I just laughed so loud L'il wanted to know why. I obvoiously could not explain:eek: :D
I love the Lodge.

You should all be pleased to know that my car did not explode at all today.

Of course, that says nothing for every other day I have to drive it, but I'll be sure to let you know when and if life imitates art. :p
I am glad your car has not yet exploded and I hope it continues to not explode.

Morning Lodge. Happy hump day.

shhhh, its a birthday present, it is still in hiding and will be for a couple more months:cool:

Birthday present? Hiding for a couple more months? Excellent, it's all falling into place.

I've not only ridden a Zam, I've driven one!

I drove a zam long time ago. Not very glamorous or fun. Small cold rink, early on Sat and Sun mornings, never enough time to do it well. One morning it was so cold in that rink that the zam wouldn't start because the LP wouldn't vaporize (that's DAM cold  ). Back then the local association would rent a block of time from 6-12 Sat and Sun mornings and break it into 50 minutes for each team with 10 to resurface. The teams were always slow to pull the nets, pick-up the pucks and get off the ice leaving me less than 10 minutes to make ice - not enough time so I raced around trying to get it done.

I also rode one at Mariucci too, that was more fun.

On a similar note, I need to get rid of the Dish Network satellite dish that is still bolted to my balcony. The previous owners had the service. I have the dish, the converter box and the remote. Is that something I could sell, like on Craigs List? Or could I contact the folks at Dish Network to see what I should do about it? Or should I just throw it out? Thoughts?

contact Dish Network, explain the situation, and hope the guy coming to pick up the equipment is cute. :)

How disappointing.

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!! wobbly wednesday is here.

Believe me, it was for the greater good. I'm sure she knows what I was thinking at that point, and that's good enough. :D

Good Morning Lodgers!

I'm surprised that people care about the gift hidden in my closet...
honestly, its really not that interesting!

I think I got too much sleep last night. I went to bed really early, and slept straight through to this morning, now I'm just dragging.

I've not only ridden a Zam, I've driven one! :D And yes, I was humming I Want to Drive the Zamboni the whole time. :)

you'd have to wear some WCHA jersey...and buy me some appetizers. :)

I let you buy my title game ticket and wore a jersey. Where's my Zamboni ride?! :(

Offers to train me at Lakeview have been flying around since I started working there, but so far no zamboni training for me. :( Maybe the new co-ordinator could help me out.

What about a former WCHA jersey? ;) I'll throw in a round of drinks with the appetizer. And easy with the nickname, Flyboy.
