Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 81: Trickle-Down Lodganomics

Morning Lodge!

I got blasmed at a dance party in the middle of the prairie last night. It was win.
Okay, there's got to be another chapter in this story. It can't just end when the words/phrases "blasmed", "middle of the prairie" and "dance party" are in the same sentence...can it?

He was actually texting me in the middle of the dance party. Fortunately, he stopped later on, presumably to talk to a female? :)

Going pistol shooting tomorrow morning. Pretty sure it'll be awesome. :D

Short work week coming up for the old man, couple nights camping then a family wedding near Two Harbors.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 81: Trickle-Down Lodganomics

Guess I'd better check into the lodge more often... espically as hockey season gets closer and closer...the rep notes of "you're still alive?, where have you been? and long time no rep"... make you realize how fast time goes by!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 81: Trickle-Down Lodganomics

Ummmm, I miss you too. ;)

We were in 108, my sister-in-law is splitting tickets and gave today's to us. One word: Wow!

So far we're only going to one more game this season. A group from work bought a pair of tix and I bought one game - the Cal game. The buddy who let us use the scrimmage tix is selling his homecoming game tickets too. I may see if those are still available.

ETA: I also have a short week. Taking Wednesday and Friday off for sure, scheduled off for Thursday, but will likely go in for a while. We are so buried and deadlines are fast approaching. Tuesday the teaching intern from France we are hosting arrives and my wife works Wednesday so I'll stay around with him and the kid. Friday we take him to the Fair to show him how Minneesootans eat fried foods on a stick. :D

You were out for a week and only had 80 emails?? Can I work where you work?? I had 224.

That's because my email was covered for everything up to Monday afternoon.

Not only am I not a high schooler anymore, but I'm not a pre-frosh either!

On the down side, I'm $600 poorer thanks to textbooks.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 81: Trickle-Down Lodganomics

I have Monday-Thursday off this week. Hopefully tomorrow, I can catch up on sleep...

Evening Lodge. Lots of driving this weekend, including 294 miles today (but got to meet Priceless, which was pretty awesome). Craziest moment of the weekend was after picking 'Ewe up at the commuter rail station, we were very literally dodging lightning bolts on the drive back to my house. Pretty sure they were hitting the ground all around us. In. Sane.

Drinking a beer in the shower...

There are some guidelines:

1. You have to work for it. You can't just lounge around and then have a shower beer.

2. Preferably it should be a hot and humid day.

3. Make that bathroom all hot and steamy, like a sauna. Makes it better.
