Will do. Perhaps even two.

I don't know the city well, but I recommend the Golden Bee - more for the beer & atmosphere than the food. They serve yards & half yards of good English beer, and it sits on ground made hallowed by college hockey legends: the first ten Frozen Fours took place a stone's throw from there.

Plus they have good beer.

I'm all about atmosphere, actually. Food is good and all, but if it's a rockin' place or someplace with a great view, I can lower expectations on the food.:o

I do plan on playing every video game at the Manitou Springs Penny Arcade with my buddy. That is one goal of mine. :)

Irish Fair this weekend in St. Paul. I will be the guy watching his daughter dance with a Guinness in one hand trying to figure out how to clap with the other. :)
Just be on the watch, Dude Love might be doing the same - watching your daughter with beer in hand, that is.

Huh. A group who organizes adult pick-up games has a beginner level one scheduled on a 3 on 3 rink right after my kid 's team plays there next Monday. The only downside I can see is that all the kids can watch and laugh at me. Maybe I can get the kid who whacked me to open the doors for us and I can get him back.:)
Are you skating JMS? I've heard mixed things about them, and I just don't want to pony up the $15/game.

Whoa. That may be a future trip. Sounds a little fancy for my purposes this time around. :o

No problem. My wife and I are going there as part of a nice getaway weekend. Great food, great wine list.

Enjoy your trip. And one word of advice for 90 degree days spent in Colorado Springs at 6600 feet of elevation: SUNSCREEN.

Noted, since I either burn or don't get color at all. :o

Evening, Lodge. Anyone named Chris Johnson want to claim a scratched-up Verizon cellphone with no minutes left, found at the end of our driveway? :p

Seriously. What is it about campground closing time that makes every mouth-breathing, wannabe hippy or yuppie focker want to buy us out of firewood or ice? Gahhh...

I wonder the same thing at Sam's Club. Then I realized that customers are lazy and don't remember they need things until the last possible minute.

We always planned ahead when we went camping, but then you might get a few beers in you and then a "OMGBBQ BIGARSE FIRE WOULD BE SO AWESOME!" kicks in, and you buy all the firewood you see. Just sayin'.
