Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 77: Arcade Games of the Reagan 80s

I hate the automated "SOMEONE HAS ENTERED THE CONFERENCE" that is ten times louder than anything else and cuts off the speaker.
The service we use only has a beep, but I've been in a meeting with long interruption and it is very annoying.
Hitler was a vegetarian.

Vegetarians get irritated when I point that out.
My co-worker that is a vegetarian is Indian. While I don't agree with vegetarianism, I don't have a problem with him, since he's just following his beliefs.

My only complaint about tonight is that I was called in to work the sales floor, and apparently watching training videos and taking surveys was more important. At least tomorrow, I don't have to close... :)

Indian dots? Or Indian feathers? (genuinely curious)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 77: Arcade Games of the Reagan 80s

I would bet dots. I have a few friends whose parents Indian (dots) and they grew up/are vegetarian.
Indian feathers would have been eating lots of game: (from http://www.trit.us/traditional_diets/native_americans.html)

What kind of foods produced such fine physical specimens? The diets of the American Indians varied with the locality and climate but all were based on animal foods of every type and description, not only large game like deer, buffalo, wild sheep and goat, antelope, moose, elk, caribou, bear and peccary, but also small animals such as beaver, rabbit, squirrel, skunk, muskrat and raccoon; reptiles including snakes, lizards, turtles, and alligators; fish and shellfish; wild birds including ducks and geese; sea mammals (for Indians living in coastal areas); insects including locust, spiders and lice; and dogs. (Wolves and coyotes were avoided because of religious taboos).

I've run into some indians (dots) who are strict vegetarians just due to social practice... I've run into some other indians who are vegetarians who seem to eat meat like there's no tomorrow :p

Had a filling replaced (again) three hours ago. The left half of my mouth is still mostly numb. This is going to be a fun lunch.
I hope you just got the soup. ;)
just 65 tons? ****, there's a big storage pile behind the powerplant here that has probably a few million. I'll see what I can do, but Detroit has already suffered a bridge collapse today, not sure if they want a massive bonfire.

Just got into St. Clair, real nice day here today. I'll be lurking most of the day when I'm not working on my incresasingly overwhelming school project that has been put on the backburner for, oh the past 2 months or so. =]

Kill two birds with one stone and drive the ship into the bridge and torch all of it. And by all of it I mean Detroit. I am sure due to the economy Detroit wouldn't mind starting over from scratch and maybe just maybe rebuilding all of Detroit might give the entire country a shot in the arm. And just think, you could be the mastermind behind all of it and go down in history as a hero. Detroit would be renamed to hockeyplayer1015ville in your honor. :p ;) :D :)
Actually, that bridge is more of an overpass thats pretty far inland from the lakes. Not even James Bond would be able to get that big laker to that spot, and well, its pretty much fooked now anyways.

Awesome. One of our temporary technicians took home a correlated nuke gauge that is needed for a job tomorrow. He hasn't had work in two days (nor is he on the schedule for tomorrow), and no reason to keep the nuke in the back of his truck.
What in the hell do you need a nuke gauge for?? And why is he allowed to have a nuke in the back of his truck???

Evening (morning?) lodge.. was actually quite productive today for a change, but not nearly as productive as I wish I was. Still a lot of catching up to do on this project, but it'll get done somehow.

+1 for threadkilling. diestabshootcroak.
