Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 77: Arcade Games of the Reagan 80s

*sigh* one of my coworkers just said, "you are absolutely not allowed to stay later than 5; you look like ****."

Great.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 77: Arcade Games of the Reagan 80s

I just got a call from the big cheese (who is on vacation) to wish little gII a happy birthday.

He also took some time to tell me how much he appreciates everything I do.

Another reason of many why my employer is awesome. :)

Could somebody from Bemidji State burn their empty D1 hockey trophy case and the plastic that is set aside for future use to print banners on?

We'll let you handle this one, Mister-I-Gotta-Go-To-Vegas-I-Gots-No-Time-For-This-Frozen-Four-In-D.C.-Crappola. ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 77: Arcade Games of the Reagan 80s

I've decided to try and read more of the classic or essential books out there. I'm going to start with The Brothers Karamazov by Dostoevsky.

Ralph, any chance you have/will be going to Kettler to check out Cap's prospect camp? I'm interested to see how Misko is doing down there.

Did you tell him that flirting at the office isn't welcome and you don't appreciate such sweet talk? :p

It was a girl. :p

And the one guy in the office that I'd consider flirting with (if I wasn't attached) made me cry today and didn't feel badly about it. :o :( He's been ******y lately anyway and this was the last straw.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 77: Arcade Games of the Reagan 80s

Hopefully you get to go to Fogo.
Unfortunately, no. One of my co-workers is a vegitarian, so fogo was a no-go.
haha, I made a rhyme!

We went to a place called Hell's Kitchen (not like the TV show), the food was really good and the prices were very reasonable, especially for downtown.

Its not very cool that your co-workers are such huge *******es that they make you cry.

I've heard good things about Hell's Kitchen. Maybe I'll get to try it someday.

I am currently on a conference call. Probably about 50 participants total.

My biggest pet peeve regarding conference calls. Put your fricken phone on mute!

Webinars are the best tool for a group that size.
And, agreed. People who don't mute their phones or use a headset during a conference call are lame

I agree on the webinar part. However, I work with dinosuars now and then. ;)

Another pet peeve is stupid questions. I advise my staff that during a call with that many participants (and in general) to write their questions down and we will get an answer later. If everyone asked a question the call would never end!

My favorite is when people leave the receiver on, and loudly clear their throat into it, without so much as a thought.
