Good morning Lodge.

Yup - looking at Sat. Aug 15th. The basics are as follows - BYOB, BYO grill goods/sandwich fixings and something to share with all. (Potato salad, chips, cookies, etc.) I'll supply grills, firewood, bug dope and shelter if needed. I'll also have a big bottle of Sapphire for some tasty G&T's :)

At this point I am in.

I almost forgot!

wolverineTrumpet: it looks like my 9-16 October Alaska trip is set - as the date approaches we'll have to touch base & plan to have a beer at the game! Now I have to look into getting tickets.

I'll be the guy in the white Michigan jersey with the not-so-sober look about him.

Awesome! I'm not sure what jersey I'll wear this season. Maybe I'll go with my newly acquired blue jersey. If you see a group of 20somethings, 2 girls and a guy all in Michigan jerseys, that is likely to be my group.

Is it October yet?

For those of you who are sick and tired of reading/hearing about all the negative headlines that seem to follow certain pro athletes, below is an article that reminds us all that there are some good guys out there.

He really is awesome. It will be a sad day if he ever leaves.:(
They should sign him for 15 years as soon as possible.

All I can say is: What kind of Lodge-dweller doesn't even vote in the poll?

Your overly antagonistic post constitutes "voter harassment"....therefore, my associate, Mike Milano, will be paying you a visit wherein he will discuss and instruct you in proper political protocol.

:p

Cheer up! It's almost Friday! :)

dont remind me...the next few days are going to be hell. between a visit from our corporate exec chef, a long azz training class starting at 8am on how to use box mixes (right like we dont already know how to do that) followed by rushing to get dinner ready, a 150+ person marketing event on thursday, couple catering functions here and there, weekend at work by myself...is it next tuesday yet?

Plus, Romo just broke up with Jessica Simpson - on the night before her Barbie-themed party. Lots of sports news lately.
