Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 77: Arcade Games of the Reagan 80s

We're off to a Sunday evening pops concert in the park, armed with a cold picnic dinner and a bottle of Pinot Grigio. Enjoy your evening. :)
Oh, I did. Got out of work at a decent hour, for once.

Guys (and girls), if you wish:

Northern Lite could really use our votes

And I'm sure bayliner2255 would appreciate our help as well

These two are friends of mine and I wouldn't mind getting them both into the next round. This is just for fun, but all the same, thank you for your consideration.
Done.
Hi, Lodge!

Ran my 5k this weekend-- 29:11. Flashy Man made the local paper in a picture of the crowd watching the finish. All in all, it was a good weekend.
Good time! Just think, you'll do better in the next one!

But did it make the ONNNNN TONNNNNN A GONNNNNNN newspaper? ;)

Congrats! 6 minute K's, I assume that's good?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 77: Arcade Games of the Reagan 80s

Roughly 6:00/K or just a shade over 9:00/mile. Not bad for her first one of the year.

Ok, obviously I know nothing of running (I get enough exercise at work, believe me), so these things are good to know.:)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 77: Arcade Games of the Reagan 80s

I ended up downtown, drinking with a huge group from the course, I don't remember anything after about 10:00, but I'd had around 15 drinks by then. Apparently our whole group was out until bar close. I don't know what happened last night, but I must have been awesome because this morning at the course several people gave me high fives and pats on the back.:D

This more or less describes my entire Senior Walk experience, because my group did manage to have a drink at every single establishment on the route. I still don't remember how I made it back from downtown to my friend's apartment. :o ;)

You think YOU had it bad?

I had to make it all the way from the Franklin Square Inn to Scallon Avenue (where Gino's is) in Hancock!

Do the walk in reverse, duh. You actually would get to drink at all the bars that way, since Franklin Square and the Library get p!ssy about that after 6.

Unless you can't remember a flourescent orange one-hitter, I'd say you guys are rookies. :o

Meh, Senior Walk gives you a ton of time to drink if you're just stopping at bars. The real pros are the ones who stop at the nontraditional places, like restaurants, the liquor stores on the way (two of them), and the frat houses... you could easily get over 20 drinks in a few hours that way

We started at 4 PM at the Monte Carlo in Hancock and I remember absolutely nothing from about 8 o'clock on (we were pretty quick drinkers/walkers, even when sloshed, and I'm told we were done and stumbling back by 8:30). Last thing I remember was walking out of the KBC towards the Library.

EDIT: We did stop at the Shottlebop, BPH. :D

That was the only place we stopped that was not a traditional full bar or bar/restaurant though.

Really? I expected something like this out of bigmrg74, but not you, and I've met you and NorthernLite personally and obviously like you both.

With all due respect...pretty weak asking to bring in a bunch of voters who don't give a crap about DIII.

Leave them to their Yooper band retard fight fest, and DIII to DIII.

Full story.

21st. Bought beer (legally for the first time) at about 3ish. Started drinking. Bar at 8ish, by midnight I had apparently won a few pool games and hit a triple bullseye in darts. Ok, sure. On the way home, I got a free Dew from the gas station (somehow I remember that) because I couldn't get the money out of my wallet.

Came home, and apparently started mixing 7&7s. Sat in a chair (I remember sitting). Woke up in the same position I had several hours before. I felt a lump, and pulled out a flourescent orange one-ie. I said aloud, "Huh. I think I remember this." My roommate said, "I'd hope so, you took a few hits from it!" And I never wanted to do that stuff, and was not a fan of it.

Yeah, oops. I guess they had to light it for me and "coach" me on when to inhale and such. :o

I missed the Library the last time I went - they'd closed to non-dinner crowds.

Lessee... extra credit would be the Keweenaw Coop, Monticello's Market, Citgo (they sell beer in gas stations in Michigan), Fallon's Sub Shop, Gemignani's (almost an official member by now), a toast in front of the now-departed Crystal Room Bar, the Shottle Bop, a shot across the street in front of DormRat's old apartment :D, the Holiday Station?, Joey's Seafood & Grill, the other Citgo, and Jim's Boozemart. Including Frat Row, you could easily do the tour without stopping at a single bar

I never got to bong a beer through a road cone at the Yooper Loop.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 77: Arcade Games of the Reagan 80s

When I first started looking at majors/scheduling classes, I saw a way for me to get out in 3 years (with summers, etc.)
I sadly realized that then I would be only 20 when I graduated, and furthermore could not do Senior Walk.

Why the f-ck do you want to leave college early? What's the matter with you?
