Cheyenne Frontier Days [one of the country's oldest and preeminent rodeos] runs for two weeks and starts later this month. Should I be looking for your little squirt kid in the calf roping or bull riding event? ;)
Personally, I've always preferred calf-ropin'. Much more practical than bull riding (though bull riding is a helluva lotta fun to watch!) There were several times this spring that I wished I was good at calf ropin', it would have saved a bunch of time and energy.
I'm confused, I thought you went to Tech?
He's arrogant, but also a very confused individual.:p

I went to Subway for lunch. (while I know that many around here don't like Subway, I don't care, it is close, easy and I think it tastes fine) There was one girl, I'm guessing high school aged, that looked like a 15 year old version of Marissa Tomei, that decided to dye her hair blonde and challenge Lindsey Lohan to a dick sucking contest. It was interesting...
The other 2 high school girls were decked out in makeup and had their hair done up nice, apparently they didn't realize that Subway uniforms pretty much negates any attempt to look good.:p

My friend had a similar situation that he, um, took advantage of. Too bad he teaches high school.
Luckily (smartly) for him, this "relationship" started a couple weeks after graduation. He said the school had no problem with it.
I just stopped at a car wash in Adrian being done by some HS cheerleaders. I swear one of them looked like a young Eva Mendes. And I felt like a right proper dirty old bastard as well. :D ;)

Will do. However, nobody in the g household owns a ten gallon or shiatkickers. Mrs. g and I were just talking last night that we should take some pics of him on the horse. Then Mrs. g mentioned it would be nice to have a professional photographer come out and take some pics. Talk about cha ching. Me and my big mouth.

Regarding Toy Story III......... what are the odds that by Christmas the stores are packed full of Toy Story stuff????????
I tell ya that it would probably be cheaper to buy him the outfit and do it yourself. And at his age, I would recomment you buy the boots and hat about a size big for him, just so he doesn't grow out of them within a month. If you wanna make him a cowboy, might as well let him dress up for the part.

And for the Toy Story stuff??? they won't be filling the shelves for long. Thats going to be the big hot items for Christmas with Pixar/Disney releasing 1 and 2 in 3-D

Too bad he's not a Gopher fan. Only then can his arrogance be complete.
The Darkness will never go over to the Dark Side!!

Tomorrow I will be giving blood, and then I will be being dragged around trying to keep my girlfriend happy.
You know, if you come out with us, and Chris there happens to run into that vender with the right kilt tartan, we might be ablt to get a good group deal on them perhaps. You wearing it like a true Scotsman would make her happy, especially when you stand on your head. ;) :D

currently at anchor down just south of Port Huron/Sarnia waiting for a turbocharger to arrive to come out on a supply boat to be installed while going up Lake Huron on one engine. That should get here around 11.

My wife has a nephew who is a bullrider. He's a good kid and one tough hombre, period.

I used to play poker with an ex-bullrider. He loved it, but when he broke his pelvis, he rethought the profession/hobby and he decided he should probably choose another career.

Heh... so we had one of those girls, ah, come through work today. Barely-legal blonde ditz, with long shirt and SHORT skirt. And according to at least two eyewitnesses who happened to look up the stairs at her, she wasn't wearing anything below the skirt

She and her boyfriend also thought the herbs being ground in the kitchen looked like "another kind of herb we like grinding up", asked if the commanding officer's tobacco pouch contained hashish, made out unashamedly for about 15 minutes in front of the homeschooled uberChristian girl, and reportedly spent a suspiciously long time alone in the top story of the commanding officer's house

Evening, Lodge. As long as I don't find any used condoms around the museum tomorrow, I'll be happy ;)

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 77: Arcade Games of the Reagan 80s

Evening, Lodge. I hate showing up at work, only to be asked to stand at the door because whoever was supposed to greet today called off. At least I had a decent sandwich when I was finally allowed to go on break...

Morning, kids! Happy Friday!! :o)

I got the apartment!! :D No more stress about finding a place to live.
Photos here. It's the little house in the middle. :)
nice place!!
Long story.

At work we have a thing going for the United Way. Employees can bring in their DVD's and other employees can rent them for a $1.00 a week with all proceeds going to the United Way. Pretty neat deal actually. We have over 600 DVD's to choose from.

Mrs. g and myself are not big TV/movie watchers (sports mostly) and we do not let our kids watch much TV. Little g is allowed to watch certain DVD's as a treat. Anyways, Little g really likes Toy Story. I bought it for him a couple months ago. (FWIW, Thomas the Train is becoming old news.) I have been trying to find Toy Story II in the stores but have been unsuccessful, I could probably buy online but have not pursued that angle yet.

Toy Story II is available to rent at work. I rented it for Little g. He loves the movie! In fact I rented it for three weeks and it was returned yesterday. Little g was "bummed" that he could not watch Toy Story II last night. He does have a Toy Story book, this book is very thin. I was not paying attention and he jammed this book in the DVD player with the plans of being able to watch the movie. The book actually was thin enough to fit in the DVD player. (5 disc carousel which is 7 years old) However, it did not want to come out. In the process of attempting to get the book out daddy lost his patience and did get the book out but the DVD player didn't fare so well. ;)

FWIWII In the movie some new characters are introduced. Bullseye in particular is a horse. Before watching Toy Story II Little g had some apprehension about riding horses. (which he does for therapy) Since Woody rides Bullseye in the movie Little g pretends he is Woody and therefore loves riding his therapy horse. :)

FWIWIII Little g had horse riding last night. His little horse Chester (Chester is small like a Shetland pony) was not feeling so well so they decided to have little g ride a big horse named Blackjack. Little g loved riding Blackjack and will now more than likely ride him going forward.

FWIWIV Toy Story III will be coming out next spring/summer.
THis is a great story. 'We' loved that movie. L'il dismantled the VCR when I had my head over a hot bowl of water trying to steam my sinuses. This story is better.

That's a hell of a poker game!

:p

This guy was pure cowboy. Starched his jeans so much they just about didn't bend. Cowboy hat, big-arse belt buckle, etc. And he wasn't one of those cityfolk who dressed the part, either.
