Good Afternoon Lodge!

Went to the beach yesterday. Beautiful day- not too hot, nice sea breeze until 5:30 when Uff-da!! Temp went up 10 degrees after the wind swung to a land breeze. It was 85 last night at 11.

Hunkered down with the AC running this afternoon. It is not nice out.

When I went to get lunch it hit 101 here today. It toggled between 98 and 99 later in the afternoon as I drove to East Bumble**** Township for a wedding. I think I was closer to Indiana than I was to home. I half-expected to see Amish buggies along the way.

Who'd of thought Hawaiian weather would be preferable in July? :cool:

Heading home tomorrow. Back to reality.

Good morning Lodge.

In 320ville the temps dropped Friday night and the humidity disappeared. The low last night was 63. Kept the windows open over night. Refreshing.

It hasn't done that in 202-land yet. Even going for an easy bike ride was uncomfortable.

lilnsl ran 15 miles this AM, it was already 88 by the time he got back before 10AM. blech. My friends from St Croix are here. They think this is comfortable. We ate breakfast on the porch.
At least there is a breeze today. Not that we are out now to appreciate it. We are hunkered down in the house.

So, that really windy road between Copper Harbor and Eagle River? Conditions were perfect this past Saturday...mighta hit 85-90 on a couple stretches, and most of the 30-40mph (yellow signs) curves, I did about 15-20 over. It was fun. :)

Evening, Lodge! Heard it was hot or something last week? ;)
Had a blast on the trip. mel's friend (call her S2, and S2 knew a lot of the group previously, including me) had a ton of fun, as we all did. Great food, Great beer/whiskey, good weather. The car show on Sat was awesome, as they leave one town, caravan formation, and then come into the final destination town (Copper Harbor) to park on the main street for people to look at. About 3-4 blocks' worth of cars. It's a sight to see, for sure.
