Evening, Lodge. From the looks of it, the weather on Sat will be perfect. Reports of scattered T-storms, but sounds like it will miss Hopkins (the city where the block party is happening). Each of the past 3 years, it's been un-Godly hot, or rainy most of the day.

In lovely Michigan. Made it in 11.5 hrs with 3 stops to eat/pee. NO traffic. I bet that won't be the case on Sunday.

Afternoon (or evening), Lodge.

Block party a massive success. Estimated 1500+ people (rough count of the wristbands handed out, children obviously not included), and was told that just in credit card TIPS, they brought in $3K. This didn't include cash transactions. Jam-packed all day long, perfect weather. While the block party ended at 10pm, the brewery was still open until midnight and it was packed until close.

I had signed up for the first shift (12-5pm) and ended up working until 10pm, because no one showed up to replace me, and I was having too much fun selling beer. Left at closing time, after decompressing (aka actually sitting down for a bit) and chilling with some friends that showed up. I cannot wait until their next block party. Such a fun time.

Good Evening and Nighty Night Lodge!

Left Fenton, MI this AM at 9:38 and arrived here at 10:30 with a stop for an hour at Niagara Falls. Fenton was very pretty. The Crust was quality- food and coffee and milkshakes. Wedding was AWESOME. Such a cool couple.

I am now exhausted.

Good morning Lodge. On board my flight to Dallas this morning. Waiting to push back. Hoping we can land. Pilot mentioned storms west of Dallas. Ugh. Flying today on Bear Force One! It’s a JetBlue plane painted all over with Bruins colors and logo. Pretty cool!

That's just 11 miles from where I grew up! 11984 Dunham Road, Hartland, Michigan.
Thanks to your post I just spent 10 minutes exploring Google Maps at work!
