It's early in the autumn, so you're fine for avoiding snow. Even in Duluth. :eek:

Ah, he meant Columbus Day weekend. When I read it, I thought that he was spending a weekend in Columbus (Ohio) and couldn't figure the rest out. :D

Evening, Lodge. Happy Mother's Day to all you mothas! Wait, motherERS, my bad. Wrong context. ;)

Sounds like a simple meal with the family, that's all my mom wants, and that's fine with me. Added to that, have a weekend off from stuff, and the next 4-5 weekends are booked with stuff, so this weekend will be appreciated.

Afternoon, Lodge! Met up with a buddy to deliver a beer I promised him (from last weekend). The place we hit up (Back Channel, for the locals) is his hangout, we both know the owners/staff, though. Had a brew, hung out, talked shop. I sold him the beer for way under market value (but above retail, I'll be honest, but still a hella deal), and he promised me some stuff from VT when he heads out there next week.

Rain is a-comin', so looks like movie night after a beautiful morning/afternoon for weather.

Good Evening Lodge!

Yesterday went to a surprise BD party for mr les friend. We gave them Who Tix at Fenway. Made them put on Who's on First T-shirts (Abbot and Costello) then open up a second box that had Who concert seats with fake tix and a thing saying you are on First Base line. :D They were totally surprised

Nice! And the fact that you have to clarify Abbot and Costello makes me feel old. Best single bit all time.

Evening, Lodge. Nice day at the family's for Mother's Day. Just sat around shooting the breeze. I become less impressed with my brother's fiancee every time I interact with her. Her and her family should be on Springer. Not even kidding. :(

Thankfully, my nieces are turning into fine young women, the eldest is going to be a heartbreaker. They are showing intelligence, independence, and athleticism. I have a feeling they are gonna run whatever house they end up in. I couldn't be more proud. :D

No, it doesn't. At first, I really liked her, she seemed nice and all, but holy crap as I got to know her and her family...wow. I hesitate to use the insult, because she is a nice person, BUT, her and her fam's lifestyle is white trash. Plain and simple.
