Is this week over yet? Already am a pile of crap. The silver lining, I suppose, is that OT for me starts an hour after I start work tomorrow, and I will again be working late. Whee. It's going to be fun when my off-site co-worker has about 12 of the last 15 days off this month.

Interestingly enough, one of our members was in the gas station just prior. Apparently the murder occurred two blocks away, where the gunman ran to the station, locked himself in the bathroom, shot himself, eventually dying at the hospital.


Thanks for asking. I'm getting through things. I try moving on and I haven't really been able to. I still miss her a lot and I still feel the love for her. It scares me because I just don't understand why I can't be like "F it" and move forward.

She's contacted me a couple times and I have been short and haven't attempted to make conversation. I just try and pull completely back and not give her the time of day. If that makes her realize how stupid she's been, good. If not, it's helping me move forward somehow.

I just do my best to keep busy. I golf as much as I can when I'm not working. I'd be lying if I said I was even close to getting over this.:/

I have been working on a big time initiative for the company the last year and a half or so. Things are really starting to come together. I'm salary so no ot for me. I haven't worked less than 50 hours a week since mid April and very soon 60 to 70 hour weeks might be the norm for most of the summer through late fall early winter. I did manage to weasel in 9 days of vacation around July 4th but that will be it. Looks like I picked the right time to be buried in this project as so far the weather has been shiatty to say the least.

Sheesh. I'll count my blessings, then. :) Yeah, I'll be needing a vacation (or at least a day or two off) in July. If anything, to tide me over until the Biddlyn wedding in August.

And I think I read on GPL that some local weather guy said we've had 15 "days of sunshine" (dunno parameters to determine that) since MARCH 1. MARCH 1!

I am working WAY too hard for my meager wage the last few weeks. At least I have a job though, right?

Big changes need to happen.
