"You're going to kill independent Scarlet!"
When I was in willimantic during grad school I'd go the the local cumby's on a regular enough basis... One night the girl there (kinda cute) said she felt like she was going to get robbed that night... Thankfully it never happened.
People suck, sad but incontrovertible fact of life.
Speaking of people, how are you getting along?
Is this week over yet? Already am a pile of crap. The silver lining, I suppose, is that OT for me starts an hour after I start work tomorrow, and I will again be working late. Whee. It's going to be fun when my off-site co-worker has about 12 of the last 15 days off this month.
I have been working on a big time initiative for the company the last year and a half or so. Things are really starting to come together. I'm salary so no ot for me. I haven't worked less than 50 hours a week since mid April and very soon 60 to 70 hour weeks might be the norm for most of the summer through late fall early winter. I did manage to weasel in 9 days of vacation around July 4th but that will be it. Looks like I picked the right time to be buried in this project as so far the weather has been shiatty to say the least.
And I think I read on GPL that some local weather guy said we've had 15 "days of sunshine" (dunno parameters to determine that) since MARCH 1. MARCH 1!
The s&ss might not get to see the light of day...............

Yikes! We have had more than that - in just the last month.

Still no basement to hide in.
Yeah, but would it still be below the waterline if the boat gets picked up by a tornado/water spout?I would feel safer on the boat than in just about any basement, and technically, our engine room, being below the waterline, is a basement![]()

I'd like to see the tornado that picks up a 400 GT boat.
