Sorry to hear. I've been through enough downsizing in my day to know that it is depressing, even when your own job isn't going away.

As for thin mints, I like them, but I always wonder if any of the ingredients occur naturally, or if I'd be better off just eating the plastic?

I love some of the weather nonsense that's being posted on FB about potential snowfall this weekend. "OOOHHHH, EUROPEAN MODELS SAY THAT WE'RE PROJECTED TO GET 19-24" OF SNOW ON SATURDAY!!!"....

Horse. ****. I've seen this crap before. We're going to get some snow. Fine. But we're not going to get almost 2 feet. It gets cold, there's a chance of snow, and some ******* gets on his FB page telling everybody that their nipples are going to explode from all the snowfall. Stop it.

No. This biblical storm clearly calls for 38 boxes of Captain Crunch, 16 loaves of bread, 17 dozen eggs, and a Diet Coke, because we're also on a diet.

I never understood this. It's not like we live in 1908. You really think that the average person will be stuck for a week because of some snow? The only thing I might understand is water, and frankly, fill up a bunch of jugs from the tap, boil it if you're concerned about bacteria, then shove it in the fridge (or outside, since it's cold enough). Fixed.

Evening, Lodge. Weather is still pretty mild here, going to get a little chilly in the next couple of days, nothing major.

If it’s snowing and you need water just grab a few handfuls in a pot, boil it, let it cool, voila! water.
