Good morning Lodge. Kind of a gray morning, and is supposed to be pretty humid today. Need to go food shopping. Need to see what they have to determine if I cook any more today. I’m still kind of disappointed at my effort last night.

Hey les, hope the party went well. We didn’t get any downpour-y kind of rains like they predicted. It just lightly rained a couple of times during the day. At least down here.

we had hard rain an hour before it started and then just a shower one time- right when the kids decided to make s'mores over a fire. had a ton of people. I didn't really get to talke to many people but everyone seemed to have a great time and the 'kids' ate like human vacuum cleaners. They like homemade mac and cheese. A lot. gone in less than 5 minutes.

Had to go to another grad party in the neighborhood. lilnsl commented there could be a circus in the neighborhood with all the tents and parties

Evening, Lodge.

Went to the corner store with the family after lunch, I wanted parents to try their wares. Dad had a beer, mom a root beer. I swear my mom pounded her pint of root beer before my dad and I were even 1/4 done with our beers. High compliments for the root beer. By pure coincidence, one of the owners was there, and had a tour* planned. Parents joined up, and were impressed. Dad loved the massive info on the process, and mom loved that this was the first brewery tour that she really understood everything about the subject (her best friend is a beer drinker, so she's been on a couple tours).

*Because the brewery is so small, there is no physical area to really cover, you simply step into the employees only area; however you get the history of the brewery, the process, get to see/taste the ingredients, etc.

Sheesh! Where is everyone?

Good evening Lodge! absolutely beautiful day in 978 land. Spent the day with my friend sho is up from St Croix. Lunch on the riverfront. Lovely day.

The sone came with us. All these yummy things on the menu and gets a burger. mr les gets burgers all the time too. They like to see who has the best one. Anyone else have a thing they order all the time when they go out?

18-19 for the first week of skeet. Happy with that, but still can't shake the disappointment of being in the teens after 8 straight trap rounds in the 20's. But skeet is a different game than trap.

Good Evening, Lodge!

I would have joined in at the mediterranean place, but I decided to have a massive head cold. On the plus side, saved myself some money for this weekend.

Leaving on Thursday to go to the parent's house. Friday, going to Wrigley to watch the Cubs/Twins game (Go Cubs Go!). BS on Saturday and Sunday. Monday, go to Miller Park for the Twins/Brewers game (Go Twins). Head back home on Tuesday.

Reminds me of my brother when we were kids. My parents liked going to ChiChis. My bro would get the El Gringo burger every time. I wasn't much better, getting chicken tenders. The fried ice cream was the real reason to go.

I have a friend who believes you should always order the fish tacos. Anywhere that has fish tacos on the menu, he insists that is what you should order.

Agreed. Chances are, if it lives in water (or even swims on a regular basis) I probably won't like it.
