I knew you’d come through. :D.

ETA: I did realize over lunch it’s only II, not III. I was close though.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 195: Who ends up at the RR Country Club for the summer 1st?

I’ve started to do more traveling and I have accrued airline miles, etc.

Curious for those of you familiar with it, or who travel frequently, do you have a general rule for spending miles on flights?

For example, I’m thinking of flying to Vegas for a couple of days with some friends. Round trip flight cost would be roughly $225. Miles wise, it would be 13,000 for the round trip. Seems like a good deal to me, however not sure as I’ve never used miles for a ticket.

TIA.

I think 1.2 cents per mile is roughly the standard. But you can find better exchanges on some flights and in some classes.

Are you sure it is 13,000 round trip? That is really cheap for a round trip flight. That seems like a one way number. If you can get a round trip flight for 13,000 miles, that is a helluva good deal, and book it ASAP.

Also, I need to know the exact dates and flights that I need to take to get to Vegas and back for 13,000 miles. Because I will book that ****.

Booked.

Let me know if you end up that way around that time.

Good morning Lodge. Working from home today. Gloomy and gray this morning. Dinner with friends tonight. Not Good Friday for us.

Good Morning Lodge!
Walked around the garden today without snow for the most part... Mt les looks like a war zone. So many branches and limbs down you can't walk a straight line. Yikes!
