Evening, Lodge. Got my review today. Of course, "meets expectations" since they don't really give out "exceeds." It's always "you were so close..." Whatever. They want to see me learn some other things (like my co-worker's main job, which is in returns) and asked why I haven't learned it yet. I flat out told them it's because the main building hasn't trained another back-up person for my job, besides the one in place, who they can never spare unless I have the day off. Told them it's a total domino effect.

Maybe THIS is the year they get something done about that, but not holding my breath. ;)

Either way, talk about job security. :)

HHT. With a period. Not an exclamation mark. Because even though OT wins are exciting, they never should’ve been in that position in the first place.

Had my official review today as well. Got "Far exceeds."

There's a catch though. I was screwed by weird timing when I moved from one team to another. The team I left restructured as I left, and the team I went to didn't catch up until now. Therefore my title is faaaaaaar below what it should be comparatively to the rest of the place. So, my manager saw it fit to say "Well clearly this is the best operations associate in the company." His managers laughed and agreed. Decent raise, big bonus check.

Plus on top of it I'm getting bumped to senior in another month or two, which is another automatic raise.

Morning Lodge!

Got a call we have power. We do not. NO one in the neighborhood does but mr les went down to street and figured out we have a tree hanging on the wire between house and street. FML.

Sól: Smoked Chocolate Stout with Cherries Added (Taproom Exclusive)
Máni: Smoked Chocolate Stout with Cherries Added Aged on Vanilla in Cherrywood Smoked Bourbon Barrels

Yes, these guys are out there with their brewing. Very aggressive styles.

My parents got power back, but my brother still doesn’t. Wonder if it’s related to that tree!? They checked whatever web site they’ve been checking and it still says 11:45pm Sunday. Hope it’s sooner for you guys!

We all went to breakfast and they all went home. I’m going to take a nap. Didn’t sleep very well on my couch.

THe website is not accurate- gives a ball park figure that is for everyone- not separate places.
