I'm on 200-proof rageahol this morning. Found out my big vacation plans are getting ****ed because of a big project being rescheduled. "No vacations in July, August, or September."

That blows. Hardcore.

Zipline or correcting papers until God knows when? I choose the latter.

Wow, kind of a switch form the other day. No snow here in Boston.

Two quick whines before I have to steel myself up for my review (that have nothing to do with my review):

1. For our Team USA launch, we actually built a gondola that sits in one of our cafeterias. People can have a one on one meeting in there, or eat. It's really cool. We asked Facilities to make sure the cleaning crew cleans it. Why? Because people are slobs. Seriously, throw away napkins and coffee cups please. Jeez.

2. Our enterprise-wide engagement was all digital. Built out pages on our intranet site for all our content. Our web team created this cool game, based on Candy Crush. You can save your score three times a day to help your team win. Our idiot IT guys have hacked it to run up their scores. One of them even emailed us to let us know he found a way to hack. It's so annoying. They've all totally owned up to it when we called them. Why would you do that? Just because you can? They're ruining it for everyone else in the company that wants to participate. It boggles my mind why they would do that to their own company's intranet. Needless to say they will not be winning anything.

OK, off to sit with my boss. I hate reviews.

So- what happened Scarlet?

4 days until the next class. Evening of rest- the mold people had to pause a day to catch up with paperwork, etc. I am exhausted.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge 194: What to do now that winter has really started?

Good Evening, Lodge!

Sitting here with my arm in a sling. The sling is mainly for when I am resting. Yesterday I got to work and had to shovel. There was a huge ice patch underneath the snow. Slipped on it not once, but twice. The first time I hit my knee. The second time I used my left arm to cushion the fall and jammed my shoulder. Reported the fall. Filled out what I could of the HR paperwork. HR gave me the info I needed if I decided to go to the doctor. As the day went on, it was hurting more and more and not my usual shoulder pain. Went to the Orthopedic walk-in after work. Good news is that my shoulder is not broken or fractured. They are not ruling out a tear. If I still have pain in 2 weeks, I go back in and get it looked at again. Still sore today.

Soooooo......How is everyone else?

Oh oh.

Hope it stops aching soon. Lots of ice.

Evening, Lodge. Really cold here, and for the first time in a long time, I'm loving it. Why? It's giving the SB visitors a taste of what we just deal with every winter. Yes, both teams are from states that actually have winter, but not usually like this. -7 is the low tonight. :)

Single digits are the predicted high temps for the weekend.

Heh, so I'm sitting here on day 8 of my arm being in a sling after shoulder surgery from a cartilage tear. I hope you don't need a serious fix because it's not nearly as fun as the pamphlets make it seem.
