Don't suppose they would have a position there where he could just be on the fork truck all the time and not have to get off and on it all the time to move stuff?? Mom had her hip replacement about a year and a half ago and she was able to get back on a horse after 7 weeks. Either way, sounds like they need to do some hiring.

Hiring is a beech. 2 weeks of posting, then interview, then drug tests. It takes a month to get a new hire. By that time, especially in rough patches like this, they lose a person or two, due to long hours. It's a vicious circle. If I wasn't in the position I am in, I'd be looking for a new job (which I was a few years ago, before I got the position I'm in now).

You could have most of your workers in India, where it takes 3-4 months to hire. :eek:

Would be difficult for them to drive the forklift from there... :eek:

Should get my car back today from the body shop.

Bonus, 49 hour weekend.

Heading to Tampa for work in Dec. There are worse destinations.

Good morning Lodge.

hht from last night (sorry Hammer). Thursday night hockey is weird. The 1st period felt like it lasted forever, and I may have yawned a few times during the game.

Happy it's Friday. Heading out to go football bowling with the new coworkers today after work. Then hauling butt to Ann Arbor for hockey.

Raked off all the gardens and fertilized them for the winter. I now stink of fertilizer (not the chemical kind).

No worries. I’ve followed less and less over the years, and besides, I know it’s going to be a rough winter in Big Rapids.
