So Misty my ball python managed to pry open the top of her tank and go on an adventure.

Found her hiding in a Lego Technic box after an exhaustive search. That was !FUN!

Neighbors when I was an infant had an 8-foot Burmese python. Thing ate whole rabbits. They gave it its own locked room in the house.

It got out of its room one day. They found it in their newborn baby's room wrapped around the light fixture.

Evening, Lodge. The St Paul mayor had a meet'n'greet at the local brewery I stop at after church. That was an interesting experience. Got to chat with him and some of his aides a bit. I'd say overall he was about 60/40 truth/typical politician BS. So, overall, favorable. For a politician. ;)

For real, seemed like a nice guy. Some nuances in his chats with the locals (that were not recorded) were noticed; talks like a blue-collar guy; certain words, grammar structure, etc. Stuff that is hard to fake. I won't say I'll vote for him, but he does have my ear.

Getting details on the One Chip Challenge. Sounds like it'll be on the 26th. They're trying to get it on the stage at Ansari's (local restaurant) and maybe turning into a charity thing, getting the spectators to donate funds to a TBA charity. Apparently quite a few folks want to come out and see this happen.

Yes, it originally was the beer group I was in, but the people involved are more than fine with me continuing to participate, which means that whole group fiasco was basic group politics. I didn't know the right people, or somehow rubbed the wrong people the wrong way. Yeah.

Based on what I've been able to find out (I completely missed all of the posts when it happened), yeah, apparently you rubbed a few few people the wrong way. I never saw any explanation other than that. Sorry I don't have any other explanation. You're not the only one axed, but you were the only one that caused an upraor. Still plenty of people that don't agree with it.

Oh, there were about 60 people axed on Friday night (lurkers and such). I know a couple people were REALLY mad I was axed. The commenting was turned off on whatever big post happened on Sat morn. Bartender at Ansari's asked what happened with "this Brent whoever," and I said that was me. :o I know nothing about what was said, except for one comment, at which I laughed hysterically:

The Decepticons captured him and Bumblebee. :D

(you might or might not get that reference)
