Morning, again. Cleaned up the highway a bit, some interesting finds, including a full Kia front grille. :D Luckily, we only found 3 "truck bombs" (pee bottles). Sitting at a certain Mediterranean place down by LWB's place as a small reward (and it was somewhat close to where we were cleaning up).

Get a bike stand and pedal your behind off in the living room... none of us would ever know the difference. ;)

I didn't see this before. I bought one of those many years ago. I found using it so boring that I eventually discarded it.

My dad owned one of those. They are pure hell. Boring, noisy, monotonous....hell.

Morning.

The wifes xmas gift has been decided and approved.

Getting a pair of cats after we are done with holiday travel. Her cat passed this spring at 15/16 yrs old.

Getting 2 so they can play together and its not just on us to keep one entertained.

You should get checked. period.

cranky at the moment. ******HT. Worst hockey in yrs down 6-0 before scoring 2 late. Then went out to Beerworks for dinner (usual place for post game stuff in Lowell). Lots of controversy as they fired whole staff mid summer, shut down to renovate/redo. Our thread was awash with people saying they suck and talking about new places. mr les and I hardly ever get to go out. It's been months. Horrible minuscule menu with nothing good on it. Food was nasty. Place used to be hopping. On a Saturday, after a game at 8:15 there were 18 people and 4 of us were leaving.

Take home- for those visiting UML- stay away from Beerworks and les is a sad panda.

Sorry to hear that. My friends and I tried out Beerworks when we were in town, however many years ago that was. It was a great place. Terrible that they felt the need to renovate/change when they had something great going.

Had something similar happen with our usual post game hang out a couple years ago. It was a bowling alley dive bar. Food was decent (some of the specials were great) prices were good. They closed to renovate and it is now trendy/hipsterish. Way fewer items on the menu (no more of the specials I loved). The first time we went back I had a pizza that was so bad I didn't eat any pizza for a month. We've been back since then, and it's ok, but I miss how it was.

At least there are more people in this world that appreciate the world around which they live. This is one of the reasons why I take road trips and don't fly.

Re: Rep retirement lodge 193 — where should Mookie visit next?

So, I just got called to the carpet by my boss. At the conference I was at last week, there was a reception at the Texas Governor's Mansion. Some senior executives were invited, as was I. Apparently I a) should not have gone and b) if I attended, I should not have socialized or hung out with the senior executives that were there. One of them told my boss' boss, who told my boss, who called me into her office. All the hard work I put into it, and this is what I'm left it.

Also, we had a popcorn machine in our booth. Popcorn is a huge draw. So we had a line. And that apparently was my fault as well. Good to know.

Put out our fall wreath on the door and, without thinking, closed it behind me. I am now standing awkwardly on our front porch while I wait for tcbg to come home (thank goodness I opted to do this late in the day). Normally, I'm so careful to take my keys, but brain fart today. :o Guess we should put out the hidden key...
