Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #190: Springing Forward

Howdy Lodge. Greetings from Chicago. Beautiful day here. Finally. Waiting for my friends to wake up. I'm getting too old for this. I was tired and felt like I was coming down with something last night. Was in bed at 11:30. My friends were all out till 4:30. I can't do that any more.

Looking forward to the game tonight.

If it helps, I can't really do the 4:30 nights anymore, either, and I'm a night owl. :(

I can still do them, but it just isn't worth it. Being useless more than half of the next day irritates me when there's only two off a week.

Well, it seems I picked a hell of a week to connect in Atlanta. Hope I don't get screwed tomorrow.

It isn't the next day that gets me, it's the day after that. THAT day, I am worthless.

Congrats!

The rest of us will be drowning our sorrows at the Lodge Golf Club (Chocolate milk's on me!)

Happy for DU. What a game. Got a good atmosphere going at the local watering hole, some other college hockey fans there. Funny enough, the guy next to me and I sorta recognized each other. Took us a while, but finally remembered that we sat next to each other for the Cubs' win to clinch the WS title. :) Life is funny sometimes.

Morning, Lodge. Church and golf-watching are on the docket today.

Greetings from Hartford. Lots of eastern bias here. ;)

Are the Frozen Four Travellers hitting the 1st place Twins @ White Sux game?

We went and some people I went to college with had some fun on tv during the game. they went viral...pretty funny.

That was funny. Paraphrasing: "And here are some Duluth fans....drinking." (They were playing Flippy Cup; I believe that is the correct term)

So, 70 on Sat, snow tonight. An inch or two, heavy snow. Lots of ice fell beforehand. Blech. It won't stick, but it'll mess things up for the normal rush hour crowd.
