Late to the conversation, but this. My first job out of college was payed monthly. I started mid-May and didn't get paid until the end of June. 6 weeks of working with no money in my pocket. As a broke college kid, it hurt and would have been scary if I wasn't fortunate to have the bank of Mom & Dad float me some money until that first paycheck. Not a problem after that first paycheck, as I've always lived within my means, but certainly a rough start.
Evening, Lodge. Just found out tonight that my longtime childhood neighbor, who got divorced a couple years ago, finally sold his house, and will be moving away. Awesome guy. Sad story. Had lived there for at least 30 years. My parents are now the longest tenured residents in the cul-de-sac, by far.
Also found out that a former neighbor, who funny enough I played softball against in later years, has died from a brain tumor. He was 55.
Yeah, not a lot of good news from the neighborhood tonight.
Ha. that is what I thought.
I am guessing the slinky is extended, and since it's not very stable when extended down the pole, the squirrels can't get solid footing?
