It's a bit chilly. Fall is definitely here. Low-key weekend planned; dinner with the family tonight, haven't seen them in a bit. HOCKEY SEASON STARTS! Although, it's a 10pm (local time) start. Stupid AK schools....

*HT. And Penn St's video feed audio was almost muted the entire game. Shouldn't be surprised, they like to mute stuff there.

You're just lucky that the cameraman was looking at the play, and not the other way.

Checked the boxscore. Once again, PSU came from behind.

The office open house was a big hit last night and the place looked amazing.

THis AM we were actually a bit warmer. Got down to 36 yesterday even tho they said it would be in 40s. My tomatoes are kaput.

We had a surprise low temp- almost 10 degrees lower than they thought. I can cover them but it is really to late. They don't produce after being that cold.

Apparently the new point of emphasis is to call everything to speed the game up for the players. I am unclear of the logic but that is what they have decided. I guess it does speed things up if you clear the ice of players but this game took til 9:45 to play so I am not sure how it is sped up.

I can say this here because I'd get roasted in the UAA threads:

The program is now dead. It's not official but Minnesota just put in the first nail in the coffin.

All this build up in the past months of trying to build attendance and revenue, and what does the team do in the first game? Lay a complete *ing egg. I shudder to think how many walked out going "nope. Still suck, not worth it."

My team is going to die.

I don't know all the details, but if anything, it might HELP that it was against MN. If it were against Bowling Green, or Ferris, or Bemidji.....different story. Know what I mean?
