Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #184: The 2016 Frozen Four

Good morning Lodge. Last day in the office. I head to Tampa in the morning. Lots to finish up today.

WTW - welcome back stateside! With regards to FF tickets, you should always peruse the ticket forum here. You can usually get some from posters. And to reiterate what others have said, thank you for your service!!

Welcome back WTW!

Good luck to all the posters in Florida this week, enjoy!

I got the wood duck house cleaned out, fresh cedar shavings inside and set it up clear of any trees or poles that would let squirrels or raccoons get into it. Saw a pair in the pond straight out from it this morning eyeing it up.

Did the baby squirrels taste like chicken?

I've just spent the last 90 minutes planning time during my vacation in Tampa to take care of work emergencies.

Oh, sorry, my cell phone fell in the ocean and Florida doesn't keep regular phones around anywhere anymore!

I'll ask the coon, mink or owl when I see them.;)

I just know they were gone.

ETA: Gotta head out now as the kid has first trap practice of the season tonight. They distribute the ammo and a parent has to sign for it. I'm gonna dress warm, it's ugly out there right now.

Good afternoon lodge. Baking again. I need to find a way to bake for a living. I love to bake!

My new glasses arrived today, and I retrieved them about an hour ago. While my eyes actually improved since last year, it still hurts getting used to the new prescription. Hopefully, that strain is gone in the next day or so.

Hate that feeling

Wait until you need bifocals. :)

Not if I can help it. Thinking about maybe getting Lasik for my 30th. I've already been told I'm probably a good candidate. And yes, I'm aware of the "touch-ups", etc. that are needed over time.

No thanks. I already have an astigmatism messing up my distance, and listed already needing help with close in objects.
THere is a thread that went by the wayside. The List. What ever happened to that?

I use progressives. Love them. Not a good candidate for Lasik. :(

I think Sickatoa ran it, and he either retired, or just let it lapse. It's now the Gear Grinding Thread, I guess.

The Sicatoka did run it, like Brent said, but then it was handed over to another poster who volunteered to start them every Monday. That person lapsed in his duties, and eventually it just faded away.

Like many other "mainstay" threads: HG-YBI, TRP, and one of the best gimmick threads: Haku Or Haiku. ;)

I'm actually surprised that Poser Of The Year lives on. I believe it's on its 4th organizer (CommAv, me, Dude Love, and now Flaggy).
