Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #183: The Final Approach To Off-Season

I sincerely dislike the DST jumping ahead day. Everything feels wrong even though it's a mere hour.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #183: The Final Approach To Off-Season

Jumping back is harder than jumping forward for me as well. I lose an hour of sleep for three days or so until I finally adjust.

 We moved forward an hour today, not back an hour. Moving back an hour is fine by me, an extra hour of sleep after a night of hockey is always welcome.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #183: The Final Approach To Off-Season

Moving back is alright. Moving ahead sucks.

I know I'll be feeling it tomorrow, and probably for about the rest of the week as well. But at least it should mean that I can start seeing daylight at the end of my work day. was just getting to where I could see the sun set right about about the time I would start my last session of the day, depending on the sessions for the day.

Come on out! I can't promise getting hit by a car this time, but it will still be a good time!

What's the hotel kiddy corner from the X? I want to start looking into hotels and airfare this week. I wish the NCAA would announce times.

The Holiday Inn St. Paul Downtown, that's the full name of the location. It's the corner of 7th St. and W Kellogg Blvd.

Good Morning Lodge. Dark out this morning for some reason. ;)

Holiday Inn St. Paul Downtown.

ETA: Oops, Clown beat me to it while I was looking at the Xcel site to see if they knew game times, but no, they say wait for NCAA to announce.

The Crowne Plaza a couple blocks away is also very good.

Where's the DoubleTree? I have many Hilton points so if I can use them for something like this, that would be good.

Even at 8/9 you're not guaranteed anything. You may get swapped due to a conference matchup or attendance. No way to book until Sunday, which sucks.

Doubletree is 4-5 blocks east of the X, on 6th. It is walkable, but not the closest.

Also, Brent, I believe that the Crown Plaza has been re-branded as an Intercontinental property.
