Morning.

Its the Super Bowl of Advertising day! I'll DVR the game for the commercials and probably only watch it live until the Panthers are up 21. So maybe the 2nd quarter?

6 days till I head to NC.

Mornin' Lodge.

Since I don't want to wait 3 hours for a pizza delivery, heading to church and meeting a buddy or two for lunch, then it's the Big Game. I've only seen the Budweiser ads and they were terrible* so hoping that the other ads make up for them.

*Budweiser's marketing has no clue what they are doing. They are going after the people who will not change their tastes to begin with; they are not trying to "win back" the craft beer drinkers. It's insane.

Yeah, insult your target audience. Unless your name is Maddox or Drew Magary, that dog won't hunt.

And this is coming from someone who has a personal family history with Budweiser (father's stepdad who we consider my grandfather rode with the Clydesdales and worked on a farm in Iowa where several of them were raised.)

Dragging butt tonight. Was visiting legal_hit and her family for the weekend and drove back at noon today, got home at 1500. Slept 1530 to 1700 and now working 1900-0730. Started yawning on my way in. Blech.
