His SO was very under the weather (missed 1.5 days of work, and you know her...that DOESN'T happen). So he was told he could go "full bachelor" last night. He did. ;)

Apparently it was rather tame compared to years' past (this was my first Christmas party with the crew).

Spanish rice for tomorrow. Will be done soon.

When I cook something new, homemade, it's either get your fork, or go hide under the bed. We'll see which is which here in a few minutes.

Not bad. It's a little bland, but with what else I'm having with it, it will be just fine. I did something right for once.

Well, atleast I had 8 hours in my own house... Way too early, but back to work until Christmas Eve. Struggle is going to be real today.

Every once in a great while I head on over to GPL to do some reading. I did that this morning. Yup, I'm pretty much awesome.

Thank you guys all for the responses about the Rose Bowl. The plan was either go with the face value seats from the University, or give Dad a ticket for Christmas and I thankfully got tickets from Iowa.

I'm really, really excited for this. I've dreamt of going to a Rose Bowl with my dad for 15 years.
