Sigh. Was a good half of a game but I knew I'd be at the * HT at some point tonight. Going to watch last night's Blacklist and iron.

HHT, but it could've been H'ier. 3-1 lead with 4:21 left in the 3rd, and UMD pulls its goalie. Game ended with that same score. (UMD, where the D is for Desperation.)

Yep. HHT. And the City Pages can go * themselves. For the non-locals, it's a hipster rag paper that had a scathing article on the Gopher team, full of anonymous quotes and calling the Union title win over the Gophers the "biggest upset since Miracle on Ice." Yeah.

Morning, Lodge. It's Hoth cold outside right now. Not to mention the wind. And it's going to be colder tomorrow. -1 right now (high is 2 today) and -8 is the high tomorrow.

Good morning Lodge. Been watching the weather a lot over the last few days, mostly because of my upcoming travel. But every report mentioned the rain that started last night to go through mid-afternoon, ending before the Patriots game. Rain. Rain, rain, rain with the snow coming nowhere near the greater Boston area. At all. Watched a weather report at 8:30am. Same thing. Yet here I sit a little after 11am looking out my window and what do I see? Yes. Snow. Big wet snow flakes. Doesn't appear to be sticking and will just be messy, but snow nonetheless. That NOT ONE WEATHER FORECASTER said would/might happen.

Good morning Lodge.

I have spent the last couple days ice fishing. Thursday fished Leech Lake. Friday Red Lake. This morning we fished a lake just a few miles from the house which is just north of Bemidji. The fishing has been awesome.

Woke up this morning to -17 with wind chill of -40. Fresh air + cold weather equals exhaustion. Time for a quick nap and then one more round of fishing.

Tonight we are having a fish fry and then some Texas hold 'em.
