Got the trees out of the gutters today. Those thing weren't cleaned out in quite some time. What a pain.

Oh, and never again with a roof that has the hip going east-west. Not with your standard asphalt singles anyway. Stupid algae.

Good morning Lodge. It's a cold, rainy raw Sunday morning here. Stayed over with the folks. And my mom made me French toast for breakfast. Well, she made it for her and my dad, too. Not just me. It was delicious. Dad seems pretty good. I think he actually got some decent sleep last night. Hope it continues.

I need to go food shopping. I'm go fin to go on my way home from here so I don't have to go home and go out. Today is not a day to do many things. It's a day to stay inside.

Good Morning Lodge.

Mrs and Jr picked 24 pounds of strawberries yesterday. A bunch have been eaten, a bunch frozen, some made into ice cream last night and still more yet to be made into preserves.

It got really windy and rained A TON down in Eden Prairie, but that's about it. Already moved out.

Basically a soaking rain now. Really disappointing. It ALMOST happened here, but just like that hot chick you are trying to get with, it just teased and led you along before shunning you. ;)

This is what we got yesterday

None of that was like that on Friday. Flip through some of the photos. Some aren't so bad, but one where the water ate the road is pretty nice.

Here, too.

They really got pounded south of us, in northern Ohio. There's a dirt track about an hour south of here that was completely underwater, and some US highways were closed. My parents were in Shipshewanna, IN, and thankfully they had no trouble coming back home today.

I golfed today with WCHA and Big Ten ref, Kevin Langseth, it was fun talking college hockey with him.
