First 2 wagons in of the summer. Could have had a third but by the time we got the second one here we got to looking at the radar and opted to leave that wagon under cover at his place for now.

Continue.

And looking outside, * the radar. Something's gonna develop soon.

About 45 minutes after I said that we were getting rain a hard rain hit and lasted about 15 minutes. The rain hit so hard that I could hear the drops coming down through the roof of my house, over the sound of my TV. A nice light show accompanied it, too. There was a bigger storm cell tracking south of me, but the #11's guy said that it could very well expand north and that it did.

Nothing here, but a good light show in the Maple Grove area.

Boy, slow news day in tLodge. Latest dad update - still here in ICU. Not because he has to, but because there are still no available beds in the hospital. He's feeling better, at least more awake and aware, so much better than what he was like on Saturday. The nurse took him for a walk today around the ICU (it's a circular department) two times. So that's good. Still a bunch of unknowns. Met with the Nurse Case Manager to talk about when he gets released. My mom and I were like "and that will be when?" Seems like everything that we have questions on only the doctor can answer and he only here at, like 6:30-7:00am. So, I wrote a bunch of questions out for him the share with the doctor. My mother said she'll come tomorrow morning early so she's here when the doctor comes.

I'm going to go home tonight and to work tomorrow. So much waiting here. He's been sleeping and he's eating, so I don't worry about not being here. He did acknowledge he's worried at what this will do/has done psychologically. I think that's a good sign that he realizes that. I hope my mother can mention to the doctor about maybe having some mental therapy as well as cardiac therapy.

My brother just showed up and my sister-in-law is coming as well. They're close by so that's a good thing.

Man, les, the healthcare system could really do with an upgrade. I don't know how you manage!!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge: 17th Edition: Summer Isn't Just A Stripper's Name

Again, good to hear, Scarlet. If he's mentally capable to worry about what possible effects this will have on his mind...well, that's a catch-22. It shows his thinking is rather clear, at least at this point. Hope that continues. :)

Finally started up the A/C today, but it wasn't b/c of today. It's because of the forecast tomorrow: 90 and somewhat humid. Having a west-facing apt, it gets warm here during the day. I have found that cranking the A/C at night (non-peak hours) and then going fan-only during the day keeps the place somewhat comfortable, until I get home (non-peak hours), and crank the A/C until the inside temp gets to where I like it, and believe me, this method shows the difference in the bills.
