Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #178: Oh, mookie's dreams...

Good Morning, Lodge!

Trying to get as much stuff done today. Tomorrow, we start driving to Montana with my parents. I would like to punch it and get out there as quick as possible. I don't want to take my sweet time.

Had my wisdom teeth out when I was 34. Lots of digging because apparently the rot was wrapped around the jawbone. Shards were coming out of my gums for a month later
:( I learned never eat liptons chicken soup with open gums. The little noodles get stuck. It was a b1tch to get the dam thing out of the hole

I only had one wisdom tooth. It came in straight but it was behind my back molar and I had braces at the time and wasn't able to properly brush as the brace prevented me from getting the brush back there. As such, it got a cavity. The dentist pulled it. Took 30 seconds.

Cool and gray day here today.Sun is trying to peek out here and there, but I don't even think it's 70. I was going to go to the beach today and read, but I think I'd need a sweatshirt. Was planning instead to pick up/clean, and then I saw that Miracle is on at 1pm!! Miracle!! Now I know what I'll be doing this afternoon.

Had some family over for food, then went to the Aquatennial fireworks show. Target shells out a decent amount of dough on them. Of course I was a moron and forgot bug spray, so I was destroyed by our state bird. Fun day overall though.

I'm glad I'm a night owl. Most others didn't get to realize that the humidity has dropped and it is now a beautiful night with a gentle breeze. Of course I know that in a Minnesota summer this can only mean that rain is approaching.

At the gate. Reading Scarlet's post. On cue- screaming child. I had to laugh. No one else knows or understands why I am laughing.

Sorry to hear that les, but have fun wherever you're going!!

Happy Sunday Lodge. Gray morning, rain showers on tap. Meeting a friend for dinner and a movie later today. Want to run out food shopping this morning. Just realized I'm out every night after work this week. No need to plan for dinner.

Got home yesterday afternoon. Coffee, Sunday Strib, and Eric Clapton (Me & Mr. Johnson) on the front porch.
