Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #178: Oh, mookie's dreams...

Good morning Lodge.

Long story short, last year I wrote a letter to Zygi Wilf. I "eloquently" explained that the g family are big fans. I also "eloquently" explained how disappointed we were in several off field issues the Vikings have had over the past 10 to 15 years or so. Furthermore and in regards to the whole Adrian Peterson thing, I went into detail about how my two young sons were disappointed in their favorite football player. I explained that they took down all of their AP memorabilia (Fathead, posters, banners etc.) I ended the letter with, "Mr. Wilf, would you want your grandchildren to wear an AP jersey to school?" and I made a simple request from one Viking fan to another......."I request that you allow my sons to trade in their AP jersey for another jersey of their choice."

I attached a picture of the g family in front of TCF stadium with all of us wearing our Viking jersies and I sent the email.

The NEXT day I receive a phone call from a very high ranking executive within the Vikings. "Mr. g I am am calling on behalf of Zygi Wilf. He apologizes that he could not call you personally (to put things into context, it was day after the NFL announced AP was gong to be suspended the remainder of the year and it was also the same day Zygi was flying to NYC to make his pitch to buy the MLS franchise) he handed me your email and gave me specific instructions to take care of you".

The g family will be attending a game this season (a game of our choice we picked the Seattle game). It is a suite. Hotel provided along with parking and pre game on field passes and we will have access to some other things (to be determined) after the game. In addition, we will also get to pick a game with similar perks once the new stadium is built. We received everything via fed ex the other day.

Holy shiat!

Yesterday I got a call from Mr. Wilf himself. He wanted to make sure we received everything and he thanked me for being a supporter of the team. He promised that his goal is to make the Vikings organization something that me and my family would be proud of.

I'm impressed.

Wow, that's pretty awesome gmann! Good for you! I'm sure both little gs will have a ball!

Finally home from San Diego and currently sitting at my hair salon getting my roots dyed. Just in time for my trip to LA onThursday. My annual trek to the Emmy Awards!

Something is wrong with my right hand. I don't know if it's carpal tunnel or something else. Thumb is really sore. I don't know if it's a pulled muscle from all the lugging of heavy bags etc. it may be residual damage from that pinched nerve I had last year as I do feel it in my arm and my neck is pretty stiff. Not sure what to do.

They must have gotten scared when they found out you are a G-Man. :D

Maybe he really is a G-Man. I better keep quiet.

Did they send a jersey for another player?

Yes. You best keep quiet if you what's good for ya...........

No we did not get to swap jerseys. When initial contact was made from the queens the guy I spoke to said that the Vikings made a decision as an organization that they would not be exchanging jerseys. At the time the only jersey exchange that had occurred in the NFL was Rice and Hernandez.

Awesome to have an owner who doesn't condone cheating!!

Maybe if he rooted for a team with an owner who had a commitment to winning he wouldn't have to write a letter asking for a jersey switch.

Sorry. Could you repeat that? For some reason the Patriots radio play by play guys came on and I couldn't hear a thing you said. :D

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #178: Oh, mookie's dreams...

Mornin'. Fun time at some friends' place last night; they hold an annual fall party, with bonfire and homebrews, and today is the start of my religious season. ;)

Ah
Didn't YOU have an owner who had to offer a jersey switch cause you gave zillions of dollar to a quadruple muderer (and counting)?

:D
