Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #178: Oh, mookie's dreams...

I just saw that the department I mainly support has hired another hot Asian woman. Its last three hires have all been Asian women, and the last two have been smoking hot. The manager's divorce is paying dividends in the eye candy department for us all.

Jr will, for sure. But he'll get over it. Especially after we encounter a few old German tourists in their speedos.;)

So true... unfortunately.

In other news, the van is in the shop coz of a bender.

Seems the driver in front of me thought she should stop at a green light as we were turning just as I looked to the left to make sure it was clear. Looked back and OH ****... BANG! Was out in the country. There was no reason to stop other than she brain farted.

I was very pleasant and composed on the outside considering that she just caused an accident that I'm legally at fault for.

I could tell she felt bad and she even apologized. Wonder if the insurance companies will accept her apology and let me off...

No chance.

Oh well, no one got hurt other than my wallet for my deductible and if they increase my rates.

Yay! TUESDAY!!!

I had a similar thing happen a couple years ago. Frustrating but now I have to keep watch on the car in front of me before turning.

You always have had to keep watch on the car in front of you. It's why you are at fault if you don't. The frustrating one is when you check all ways as you are slowly backing out of space in a parking ramp, turn you head to check the left again and some blonde in a hurry while on her phone nails you from behind. If you are leaving a parking spot, you are at fault, even if she is not paying attention. It's also frustrating when the dam deer doesn't look when darting out onto a highway in front of you!

Or when you think the car in front of you is going and then they suddenly stop because they just noticed a car coming. :upset:

Or they just stop for no reason at all.

Oh well... apparently I have accident forgiveness.

And a free loaner.

Could be worse.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #178: Oh, mookie's dreams...

Had a 2+ hour meeting with my boss, and his boss. Going over my findings from my trip. I think I passed with flying colors. :p

Need to make some edits to include their opinions on the outcome, along with mine and put it all intona powerpoint tonight. Might be a late one. Getting pizza and beer right now.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #178: Oh, mookie's dreams...

JFC it's SUCH a Tuesday. Had a plumbing issue. Then, based on my post from last night about data, I put my phone in airplane mode to see if that would also help with data usage. This morning when I got up I took it off airplane mode and waited for it to join my wireless. It didn't. I had to select my own router, which the phone is supposed to join automatically, and then had to put in my password. It never accepted it. Didn't say I typed it in incorrectly, I just had that little box to type it in come up over and over. I turned the phone on and off to see if that would work. Nope. Grrrr. Then I got in my car to drive to work as I have Red Sox tickets tonight and the traffic was ridiculous!!! I'm sure the day can get worse.....because it's Tuesday. Oh, it's supposed to thunderstorm about the time I'm heading to the game. I have no one to go with, but I want to go because they're retiring Pedro's number. Stay tuned.....I'm sure more fun and games will occur.
Lil just messaged me that he got a notice, one day after our billing cycle started we had used almost all of our data. this should be physically impossible because my phone has been turned off the whole time/

Sigh.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #178: Oh, mookie's dreams...

Tuesday could have Tuesday'd but thankfully it didn't. Took on additional business from another branch that was down, but DHBoss called me at lunch and said he'd be down to help out. Well, okay then. Won't argue that. Ended up being a normal day for me. Not a bad day to come back to work.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #178: Oh, mookie's dreams...

So, my phone is back to normal. I shut it off and kept it off for about 10 minutes, turned it on and the wireless came back. Yay! At Fenway tonight was able to get on the free Fenway wireless. Kept closing apps as I was using them. I should check to see my data usage.

Pedro ceremony was great. All fans got a small HOF plaque replica. And no rain at all in the city. Then the game started and I remembered it was Tuesday again. So I glad I made my lunch for tomorrow last night. I'm tired. Going to go to bed.

Good Morning Lodge.

Lovely day after a little rain and humidity yesterday.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #178: Oh, mookie's dreams...

What's more worthless than a little yip yip dog?

Owners who don't seem to realize that their little glorified rat is an annoyance to everyone else around them.

The people behind us have a little pos that goes ****ing ballistic every time another dog walks by. Even at 7:00am. And they do nothing about it... just let him go and go and go.

If it were my dog - although it couldn't be coz I wouldn't get a little pos glorified rat - you'd hear "YIPYIPYIPYIP Glgh..." and that'd be the end of it.

Luckily their house faces away from ours so the sound isn't nearly as bad as it must be on their own street.

Get ahold of your noise maker morons!
