Sometimes companies have to do that as a formality. Hopefully you should have the inside track!!

Happy Friday kids. I have a headache and want to go home to nap. My sister-in-law's mom passed away Wednesday night. Not fully unexpected as she was in a nursing home but I didn't think she had taken a turn for the worse. I feel bad. She was such a sweet woman and my family has always been so close with my sister-in-law's family from the get go. She was at her husband's 90th birthday party a few weeks ago, too.

My boss is off today. Hopefully I won't get 17 emails from her today.

Exactly. Although it stinks that I may not even get to interview for it, if it is filled internally I'm SOL. But the assistant principal and principal said they'd write letters of recommendation for me. So that feels good.

Don't you teach special needs kids? Who could be more qualified than someone who knows their struggles?

I know the person who had the job last year is still in the district and isn't happy that she lost that job when it was cut. I expect her to apply. But that's why I am not worried because they're are plenty of jobs out there. I'll get one, just have to go through the process of finding one again.

That's them. I work for a division of the Enterprise. They are opening another store in Woodbury and redesigning the Eden Prairie store, also updating the pricing signs. I have had the honor of setting up and printing them this week.

You need to tell them you have to see ALL their stores. The other one is on Sanibel Island, FL.

Mornin' Lodge.

Saw that "Red Army" is in more than the artsy theaters, which includes one close to me, so gonna have to go watch it. Debating on whether I wear my 1980 CCCP Tretiak when I go. I think I might, just to make people chuckle.

They do have a corporate beach house down in Sanibel which my co-workers and I are trying to get corporate to give us a free vacation there. :)
