Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #174: Spring Cleaning

Up nice and early for an 8 am hockey game!

Tier II State Championships in Stevens Point. This is a regional (South Central ) team made up of U-16s from a bunch of schools.

Thought these early morning games were over once we got to high school. Fun though to be at a hotel with some families that we don't get to see too often anymore.

Up late in common area drinking rum and figuring out the world of hockey as it pertains to our boys.

Gotta win 2 games today to make it to Sunday. Otherwise we go home tonight. Not optimistic after watching yesterday's effort.

Morning, Lodge. Looking forward to getting the mail today. My 1980 CCCP Tretiak (w/Cyrillic lettering) jersey should be arriving. :) Pretty stoked about having one.

S'upp y'all

Sat with scarlet last night and terriors won. Mookie was worried the boys would fall behind and she'd make me move :p

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #174: Spring Cleaning

So now they won and you're not coming today. Think of that if they lose today, mmmkay?

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #174: Spring Cleaning

*HT. DU ended up winning last night and I'm worried I won't be able to see UMD at the Fab Four. Would really make it more interesting, but I guess a weekend off for the first time since Christmas could only help.

Off to Eau Claire for my cousins wedding...which means I'll miss tonight's game

Taking part of my tax refund and putting it back into the economy by getting highlights on top of my normal cut and color. Because I'm generous that way.

Cold rain this morning. At least it's not snow.

Got my <strike>interest-free loan to the government</strike> tax refund back, and used it to pay off my Jeep. feelsgoodman.jpg

Also am getting ready to close on a place in Denver. HUGE two-story townhouse with above-ground basement. There will be pictures on my bookface machine. Apparently the son of the family across from the unit is a professional muralist and he did...some rather eccentric artwork throughout it. Actually got it $9K UNDER asking. In Denver. And am getting the furnace tuned up and a new electrical panel to boot.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #174: Spring Cleaning

Somebody, somewhere along the line isn't real sure what a basement really is.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #174: Spring Cleaning

I have a buddy that has what his realtor called an "above ground basement". In his case that level is underground at the front of the house, but the yard slopes down to the back of the house so you can just walk out of the basement into his backyard.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #174: Spring Cleaning

I guess "split ground level" would be more appropriate.

Entry on one side to 2 main living floors, and a basement beneath which is at ground level on the other side.

We had that where I grew up as well.
