Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #174: Spring Cleaning

GD daylight savings has my sleep all messed up today.

Tried to go to bed last night at "midnight" and tossed and this morning I woke up at 5:00 and couldn't get back to sleep.

Hooray Monday!

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #174: Spring Cleaning

Good Morning, Lodge!

My home couldn't decide if it wanted to be really hot or really cold last night.

Good Morning Lodge.

You sure that was the home and not the occupant?;)

Mavsy, be sure to drink lots of water down there. Wherever you find it. Wouldn't want you to get dehydrated in that heat and humidity.:p

Good morning Lodge. Monday. It's Not Tuesday.

Lots to do today and tomorrow as I will be in Lake Placid the rest of the week.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #174: Spring Cleaning

I set ahead all of the clocks in my house except for one. Anybody want to guess which one I missed? Ugh.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #174: Spring Cleaning

No we went back and forth. one of my friends is who I beat every time. Someone on here is killing me

Being the arrogant b* that I can be, I told one of the friends I was playing that I sometimes answer wrong on purpose, just so my friends that aren't trivia nerds will stay interested in playing me. I know how frustrating it is to always lose. She told me to just play and not throw questions. I beat her in 2 turns (6-1) and then she understood. Now, a lot of that was luck with the questions, but it sure was fun.

Re: Rep Retirement Lodge #174: Spring Cleaning

I'm playing this one round with a friend who I know 9 times out of 10 I could beat her. I'm just getting the hardest questions every time it's my turn.

My top category is at 87%, bottom is 75%, but there have been games where I can't get more than two questions in a row correct for that very reason. It can be frustrating when that happens and you're playing against someone who you know will try to hold these games over you in some fashion.

This and this. I am usually a font of obscure info. I keep getting really weird questions that I bomb on. I do not go to the movies or follow the whole movie/rich people nonsense. THis is bad when answering entertainment and art

I may be young, but I'm not as dumb as I look.;)

Mornin' y'all. Only chance of rain is today, which I welcome as kicking down the dewpoint would be fantastic.

Speaking of the DI side, with the success the Mavericks are having, some n00bs and other morons are coming out of the woodwork.

TriviaCrack is fun.. I play somewhat regularly, and can be successful at times, but I also don't keep up with movies or actors and actresses, etc. those can stump me from time to time as can some of the art questions.

Trying to get internet/TV set up with Xfinity makes me miss how easy it was with Midcontinent in Grand Forks...

Good evening Lodge.

I'm jealous of all the Lodgers that have or will be traveling to warm destinations. No warm vacations for the g family this year. Most of our vacation time in 2015 will be camping trips, Twins/Viking/Wild games, hanging out at the cabin and traveling around the state checking things out. *we had plans on taking a vacation but the mil f 'd that up. :p Besides, we spent some dough on new flooring for the house and I just purchased a new vehicle a few weeks ago.

For those of you keeping score from home, Mrs. g and I decided to get a family pet. We are scheduled to get a puppy late May.

Got great news at work. Head Boss has officially ditched DHead Boss' "Staffing To Perfection" plan (you have the EXACT minimum staffing you need), and hired 3 more people. Goal? Be done with the shift I'm on by 6pm (and the later shift done by 6:30). If this works, and it should mean:

1. No more 50-hour weeks. Back to 40-42 hour weeks.
2. I will never see the main building (except for quarterly meetings, things like that), as I will never be done before 5:45 (when the last carrier picks up from off-site)
3. ALL THE JOY
